On the occasion of NCC Raising Day, Tungal School of Basic & Applied Science, Jamkhandi, under the guidance of ANO Lt. Jameerahamd Aparaj, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Vishram Hiremani, Vice Principal Mr. Mallikarjun Mendagudli, and Principal K. S. Nadapurohit, proudly organized two noble initiatives: a Tree Plantation and a Blood Donation Drive. NCC Cadets actively participated, spreading the strong message of “Serve with Discipline, Lead with Purpose.”

The Department of Chemistry, under the IQAC initiative of Tungal School of Basic and Applied Sciences, Jamkhandi, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on “Nanotechnology – The Small Science Creating a Big Impact” on 28th October 2025 at 10:30 AM in the AV Hall, TSBAS. The session was delivered by Dr. Barnabas Kodasi, Assistant Professor, National Forensic Sciences University, Dharwad, who shared valuable insights on the growing importance and applications of nanotechnology.

The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Vishram Hiremani (HOD & IQAC Coordinator), Shri. M. G. Mendagudli (Vice Principal), and Shri. K. S. Nadpurohit (Principal), with the wholehearted support and participation of all faculty members of the Department of Chemistry. The event proved to be an enriching experience, enhancing students’ understanding of cutting-edge scientific advancements.

The Department of Computer Science (BCA Programme), Tungal Degree College, Jamkhandi, successfully conducted an engaging Debate Competition on the topic “Future of AI: Good or Bad?” Final year students showcased sharp thinking and powerful arguments, making it a memorable event filled with tech insights and passionate discussions. Kudos to all participants, winners, and organizers for making it a grand success.

A fantastic session on 'Cybersecurity & Awareness' by Shri S. Roshan Zameer, DYSP, Sub Division Jamkhandi. Grateful for the presence of the Principal, HoDs, and Faculty. The session also covered crucial topics like Digital Arrest Prevention, leaving us better equipped to navigate the digital world safely and protect ourselves from cyber threats.
