15th July, 2016 inauguration of IPARW Administrative Block :-
On 15th July 2016 the Administrative Block, Conference Hall, Resource Center equipped with computerization and others furniture and equipment's. It was inaugurated by Mr. Jeevan Ch. Pande and Mrs. J. Pande, Sr. Manager, Danguajhar Tea Estate, in presence of large number of dignitaries from plantation industries and various stake holders.

"We Salute the untiring efforts of Women "

The Institute For Plantation Agricultural and Rural Workers observed and conducted two awareness programmes with the theme of International women's day : one in Begam Fayzannessa Balika Vidyalaya, H.S, School, Jalpaiguri, West Bengal & another in Madhupur Paraliguli, Dibrugarh, Assam. Considering the urgency to stop some issues regarding violence against women like: women trafficking, child marriage, child abuse and also empowerment of women. Inspite of so many obstacles today's women achieved their goal of success. In Jalpaiguri the Head mistress of Begam Fayzannessa Balika Vidyalaya, H.S, Mrs. Ratna Dutta started the programme with the introductory speech, Mrs. Mimi Roy, teacher of the school gave a speech regarding women empowerment & another teacher Mrs. Sima Ghosh also told the relevance of Women's Day. The programme was ended with the vote of thanks by Ms. Dayita Goswami and IPARW staffs.
In Madhupur Paraliguli, Dibrugarh, Assam, conducted the programme with women's working in tea plantation sector & SHG members. Mrs. Padmini Saikia, RTD presided over the awareness programme. the programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Ms. Deepamoni Kachari, Programme Coordinator, N.E. region IPARW.
International Women"s Day is a world wide event held around the world to commemorate the struggle for women's rights.
It has been observed since the early 1900s and now recognize each year on March 8. It is not affiliated with any one group but brings to gather government, women's organisation , corporation and charities.
It is opportunity for everybody all over the world - men & women - to stand together & shine a light on issues facing women in every sector and the action being taken to fight for justice & equality.

All over the world observed World Cancer Day on 4th February . Institute for Plantation Agricultural & Rural workers observed & conducted awareness programme / workshop with the Theme WE CAN , I CAN. Technically supported by TATA MEDICAL CENTER, 14MAR (E-W), NEWTOWN, KOLKATA. West Bengal, India.At Jalpaiguri town, IPARW in collaboration with Jalpaiguri Marwari Balika Vidyala, along with the dignitaries 175 young girls student participated. Dr. Subhodip Biswas, narrated various issues related with this dreadful disease “CANCER” which is now the second largest dreadful disease all over the world. Dr.Biswas, also explain about the cause, symptom’s, types etc.
Founder Director of IPARW Mr. Samir Roy share his experience as Stage-IV Palliative patient and few points which help cancer patient to live a healthy life too. Sri. Sabyasachi Sarkar shared his experience as a guardian of a child parent struggling with cancer. Md. Karimul Haque who is giving services to the rural villages by his two-wheeler, participated in this awareness programme and share his experience as social activist, this year 2017, Md. Karimul, was selected/ awarded Padmashree by the Government of India. Besides them Dr. Umesh Sharma, Ms. Maitreyi Nag, Principal TechnoIndia Group Public School, Smt. Chameli Saha, Mr. Raja Dutta, Ms.Mousami Dutta, Ms. Biva Bhattacherjee, Dr. Sudipta Sikdar ,Dr. S.B.Modak, Principal Anandachandra Training College, Jalpaiguri was participated deliberation along with other intellectual personality of Jalpaiguri came forward and taken oath for joining themselves with the movement. The workshop was started with the lightening of the lamp. Mrs. Laxmi Bagch, Headmistress of the Jalpaiguri Marwari Girls School Presided over and conduct the workshop. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks by Ms. Sanchita Roy, Admin officer, IPARW
