Under the direction of Dr. Arvind Trivedi (Dean/Principal, RMC, Jalaun) and under the supervision of Dr. Rina Kumari (Principal, CON, Jalaun), the College of Nursing, RMC, Jalaun, held their third lamp lighting and oath-taking ceremony in addition to celebrating their second Foundation Day on 29th November 2024.
Dr. Arvind Trivedi (Dean/Principal, RMC, Jalaun) was the program's chief guest, and the honorary guests were Prof. Girija Sharma (Principal, Krishna Institute of Nursing Science and Research, Kanpur), Prof. Rossily Nirmal (Principal, Sahara College of Nursing, Lucknow), and Dr. Jasmi Manu (Principal, Rama College of Nursing, Rama University, Kanpur),.
All of the B. Sc. Nursing 2024–2028 students were incredibly excited, and their parents were thrilled and proud of them.
The 2022, 2023, and 2024 batch gave a heartfelt performance on the Women Empowerment “BAS AB AUR NAHI!” WRitten and directed by Mr. Santosh Kumar Dixit.

The event was held under the leadership of Dr. Arvind Trivedi, who serves as the Dean and Principal of RMC, Jalaun. His commitment to fostering a vibrant community was evident throughout the festivities. Additionally, Dr. Rina Kumari, the Principal of the College of Nursing, provided valuable guidance and support, ensuring that the celebration reflected the rich cultural significance of Diwali. Together, they played a vital role in organizing activities that not only honored this important festival but also brought students, faculty, and staff together in a spirit of unity and joy. The celebration included various traditional practices, decorations, and community activities that highlighted the essence of Diwali, serving to strengthen bonds among everyone involved at the college.

The B. Sc. Nursing Batch 2024–2028 Induction Program was organized by the College of Nursing, RMC Jalaun, on September 5th, and Teacher's Day was enthusiastically observed. During the induction program, Ms. Sneha Dixit (Tutor, CON) gave the new students an explanation of the syllabus, Mrs. Sudha Swamy (Asso. Prof., CON) talked about the college's rules and regulations, and Dr. Umamaheswari (Vice Principal, CON) explained the scope of nursing. All batches of students participated in a variety of cultural events in honor of Teacher's Day.

College of Nursing, RMC, Jalaun, Orai, U. P. Celebrated 78th Independence Day on 15th August, 2024 along with Tiranga 🇮🇳 yaatra, poster competition, essay writing competition, and role play on “KAKORI TRAIN KAND” on 13th August,2024.
The Program was successfully completed under the Guidance of Dr. Arvind Dwivedi (Dean/Principal, RMC, Jalaun) and supervision of Dr. Rina Kumari (Principal, CON, RMC, Jalaun).
The HODs, Doctors, Teaching and non teaching Faculties, Nursing Officers, Staffs, Students, etc joined the program with full enthusiasm.

On 12th of July, Govt. Med. College did plantation in the campus under the “वृहद वृक्षारोपण अभियान” 🌱
To fulfill this objective, a massive tree plantation campaign is being run till 15 August 2024. Under this campaign, along with proper arrangement of water in the district and tehsils, plants will be planted at protected places and they will also be protected.
The Principal/Dean of Govt. Med. College and Principal of College or Nursing appealed to the everyone to plant as many trees as possible and take care of them.
All the HODs, Faculties, students and non teaching staff took active participation in the Tree plantation with enthusiasm!
“To be without trees would, in the most literal way, to be without our roots.” 🌴
“Learn character from trees, values from roots, and change from leaves.” 🌴 🌲 🌳 🌱 🪴

Dr. Umamaheswari Pakkirisamy, Vice Principal of the College of Nursing at RMC, Jalaun, and Dr. Praveen Kumar Naik, Senior Resident, Department of Pediatrics at Rajkiya Medical College Jalaun, Orai, presented their research work at the International Conference on "Promoting Sustainable Kidney Health: The Asia-Pacific and Beyond" conducted by the Asian Pacific Congress of Nephrology (APCN) & The Korean Society Of Nephrology (KSN) in 2024. The conference was held in Seoul, South Korea from June 13th to June 16th, 2024. They presented on topics including "Promoting the Quality of Life of Hemodialysis Patients through Comprehensive Nursing Care", "Ways to Reduce the Carbon Footprint in Dialysis Units", and "Clinical Scenarios of Childhood Nephrotic Syndrome", and each received a $1000 travel grant award for the best abstract.

On the occasion of “International Yoga Day” 🧘🏻‍♀️ , College of Nursing, GMC, Jalaun, conducted a yoga session in the college premises lead by Yoga Guru, Mr. Saubhagya Dixit. The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. R. K. Maurya (Dean/Principal, GMC, Jalaun) and supervision of Dr. Rina Kumari (Principal, College of Nursing, GMC, Jalaun).
The theme for International Yoga Day 2024 is “Yoga for Women Empowerment.” This theme aims to highlight the role of yoga in promoting women’s health and well-being, emphasizing how regular yoga practice can contribute to empowering women by enhancing their physical, mental, and emotional health.
Many Doctor, Teaching, Non-teaching faculty, Hospital Staff, Students of B. Sc. Nursing and Paramedical took active part in the Yoga session.

Also, everyone took the pledge to include Yoga in their daily routine for healthy life. 🧘🏻‍♀️ 💪🏻

The program was organized by the students of the Department of Paramedical and Sciences under the direction of Dr. R. K. Maurya (Dean/Principal, RMC) and the guidance of Dr. Rina Kumari (Principal, CON, RMC).
Program coordinators were Mr. Om Prakash Sharma (Nsg Tutor) and Mrs. Kepal Bala (Nsg Tutor)
Students of the Department of Paramedicals emphasized the symptoms, prevention, and spread of dengue. Also recited many slogans.
