Republic Day was celebrated in Sheela Rani Tangri D.A.V. Public School Bilga. After unfurling the flag, the importance of Republic Day was explained to the students.
On this occasion, the children were encouraged to watch the Republic Day Parade and celebrations in New Delhi.
Principal Mr. Sanjeev Gujral said on this occasion that students need to know the meaning of a republic and it is our duty to explain the meaning of the republic to them.
Mr. Naresh Kumar, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Mrs. Rajni Sharma, Mr. Pushkar Arora and Mr. Manjinder Johal were also present on this occasion.
It is noteworthy that the students of the school presented a colorful cultural program at the Republic Day celebrations held at Panchayat Ghar and at Patti Nilowal Square.

S. R. Tangri D.A.V. Public School Bilga won over-all trophy in D.A.V. Sports state level athletics tournament in U-14 boys' category. The school's U-17 Girls team secured runners- up spot. Gursharan Singh was selected the best athlete in U-17 boys.
The school’s athletics team won 15 medals including 7 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals.
The said tournament was held at Police D.A.V. Public School, Police Line, Ludhiana.
The athletics team was given a grand welcome when they returned to school. On this occasion, the Principal of the school Mr. Sanjeev Gujral congratulated the young players and hoped that they will surely shine at national and international level.

DAV Sports State level weightlifting championship was organized in S.R. Tangri DAV Public School Bilga. Nine 9 schools participated in this competition. DAV International Public School, Amritsar's U-17 and U-19 Boys’ teams won the overall trophy.
The host team's U-14, U-17, U-19 Girls’ teams won the overall trophy.
Principal Mr. Sanjeev Gujral expressed gratitude to the President DAVCMC Shri. Punam Suri ji and said that its his good fortune that he got the opportunity to organize this competition. He also congratulated all the winners. He specially thanked the school's DPE teachers Mr. Balwinder Singh and Mr. Jaswinder Singh for successfully organizing this competition.

A one day CBSE workshop was organized at S.R.T. D.A.V. Public School Bilga by COE CBSE, on the theme ‘ Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies’. Mrs. Madhu Sharma and Mr. Nagesh Kumar were present as key speakers in this workshop. At the beginning of the workshop, Mr. Sanjeev Gujral, the Officiating Teacher Incharge of the school, welcomed the chief guests and all the teachers present in the workshop. Mr. Gujral said that it is a matter of great pride that the said school has been selected for organizing this workshop by CBSE.
Mrs. Madhu Sharma said that under the new teaching system, instead of the traditional teaching method, education based on activities and different skills will prevail and this decision has been taken keeping child psychology as the main focus. For this, updating the teachers is the need of time.
Mr. Nagesh Kumar also shared his experiences with the teachers and said that in today's time it is important for the teachers to change their teaching method and give students a full opportunity to share their ideas in the class.
The founder principal of the school Mr. Ravi Sharma joined in at the closing ceremony of the workshop,
Fifty four teachers from recognized CBSE schools of the region participated in this workshop.

The winner players of DAV National Sports held in January 2024, were honoured in Sheela Rani Tangri DAV Public School Bilga.
School students Anandsheel, Jaskaran Johal and Sukhrajpreet won the gold medal by securing first place in their category in weightlifting. For their encouragement The DAV College Management Committee, New Delhi under the able leadership of President Mr. Punam Suri, honoured with a cheque of Rs. 5100, a gold medal and a certificate.
On this occasion, the Officiating Teacher Incharge of the school Mr. Sanjeev Gujral attributed this success to the DPE Teachers of the school, Mr. Balwinder Singh and Mr. Jaspinder Singh. He said that today our country also needs such youth who can bring name and fame to the country at the international level. He gave special thanks to the DAVCMC for providing such opportunities.
On this occasion, School Chairman Mr. Ashwani Tangri, Vice Chairman Mr. Ajay Goswami, Manager Mrs. Sween Puri and A.R.O. Dr. (Mrs.) Rashmi Vij also sent their congratulatory messages.

D.A.V. Bilga organizes bhajan singing in school.
A bhajan singing program dedicated to the 200th birth anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati was organized under the leadership of Arya Samaj Nakodar today at SRT DAV Public School Bilga. On this occasion, Dr. Anoop Vatts Principal DAV College Nakodar specially arrived and while addressing the students said that the main need of the hour is to implement the principles of Arya Samaj established by Swami Dayanandji. He told the students about the importance of self-study and said that along with this, they should also meditate at night on what they have done during the day and what positive changes they have brought in their behavior that day.
The bhajan singing related to Arya Samaj by the school students enthralled the audience.
Tanisha, a student of the school, told about the life of Maharishi Dayanand ji. On this occasion, Mr. Sanjeev Gujral, the officiating teacher in-charge of the school, welcomed Dr. Anoop Vatts along with Mr. Jai Gopal Sachdeva, the founder member of the local management committee and honored him by giving a memento of the school. On this occasion, the bhajan presented by the school teacher Mrs. Rajni Sharma was highly appreciated by all the audience.

On this occasion, the children were shown the main celebrations in New Delhi as well as the parade there.
On the occasion, officiating teacher in-charge of the school, Mr. Sanjeev Gujral said that students will be able to understand the meaning of independence only if they know the meaning of a complete republic and it is our duty to explain to them the meaning of a complete republic. On this occasion, BVP District Co-Coordinator, former Principal Mr. Ravi Sharma, Mr. Naresh Kumar, Mr. Balwinder Singh, Mr. Jaspinder Singh, Mr. Rajesh Kumar and Mr. Pankaj Kumar were also present.
