St Soldier Institute of Business Management and Agriculture's Department of fashion designing arranges a visit to Kundra Textiles , Jalandhar .The industrial visit aimed to provide students with hands-on experience and practical exposure to real-world industry operations. During the visit, students received guided tours of various departments, gaining invaluable insights into the inner workings of the industry.

A highlight of the trip was an interactive session with industry professionals, where students posed questions and explored career opportunities in the field. This engaging exchange not only broadened their understanding of the industry but also inspired them to pursue their passions.

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at St. Soldier Institute of Business Management and Agriculture organized a photography workshop. The event was graced by renowned professional photographer Sukhmanjot Singh, Assistant Director of Mastaney and the highly anticipated Punjabi film Guru Nanak Jhaaj. He is also the winner of three Best Film Awards at the SikhNet Film Festival, USA.

While addressing the students, Sukhmanjot Singh highlighted the essential qualities of a good photojournalist. He shared his professional experiences and provided valuable insights into the field of photojournalism. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where he patiently answered all the students’ queries and doubts.

At the end of the workshop, the Principal of the college, Dr. Simranjit Singh, delivered a vote of thanks to Sukhmanjot Singh. He also congratulated Prabhjot Kaur, Head of the Department, and Mamta Mam from the Journalism and Mass Communication Department for organizing the event. Dr. Simranjit Singh encouraged them to continue hosting such informative and inspiring sessions in the future.

World Radio Day Celebrated at Radio City

Students from St. Soldier Institute of Business Management and Agriculture’s Journalism and Mass Communication department visited Radio City 91.9 FM on World Radio Day.

Students had a fun and interactive session with RJ Sandy, where they learned about how a radio station works. The students also gained insights into the skills needed to become a successful radio jockey and build a career in the radio industry.
