Topic: Fairness and Equality
A counselling activity on “Fairness and Equality” was conducted at Akal Academy Bilga on 20 August 2026. The activity aimed to sensitise students about the importance of treating everyone with respect, kindness and fairness.
Akalroop Kaur of Class 9th B beautifully explained the topic and highlighted the importance of giving everyone equal respect, opportunities and consideration. She explained the concepts with simple and relatable examples.
Students of Class 3rd enthusiastically participated in a role-play activity, presenting different situations related to fairness, equality, sharing and cooperation. The activity helped young learners understand the importance of respecting others and treating everyone fairly.
The session was interactive and meaningful. It encouraged students to develop empathy, kindness, cooperation, respect and a sense of fairness in their daily lives.
The activity concluded with the message: “Treat everyone fairly, respect everyone equally.”

Inter-Class Poster Making Competition

 

Akal Academy Bilga organised an Inter-Class Poster Making Competition in August 2026 to create awareness among students about the importance of Health and Hygiene. The activity focused on the theme “Health & Hygiene (Bad Touch/Good Touch)” with the sub-theme “Health & Hygiene as Self-Care.”

Students participated enthusiastically and expressed their thoughts and ideas through creative posters. The posters highlighted important messages such as “Clean Body, Clean Mind” and emphasised that personal hygiene is closely linked with self-respect and safety. Students also conveyed age-appropriate messages about recognising safe and unsafe touch, respecting personal boundaries, and speaking up when they feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

The competition provided students with an opportunity to combine creativity with an important life-skill message. Through colours, drawings, slogans and meaningful illustrations, they demonstrated their understanding of cleanliness, personal care, safety and self-respect.

The activity helped develop creativity, awareness, confidence and social responsibility among the students. The school appreciated the enthusiastic participation of all the students and encouraged them to practise good hygiene and remain aware of their personal safety in everyday life.

The activity was a meaningful step towards nurturing healthy, confident and responsible young individuals.

Environment Cleanliness Activity
Akal Academy Bilga
organised an Environment Cleanliness Activity on 19th July 2026 by 'Ajay House' in the school campus with the aim of creating awareness among students about the importance of keeping their surroundings clean, green and healthy.
Students from class 3rd to 5th participated in the activity.They also came forward to share their views.
Students actively participated in cleaning and maintaining different areas of the school premises. They collected waste, removed unnecessary litter and ensured that the surroundings were neat and hygienic. Special emphasis was laid on proper waste disposal, avoiding littering and keeping the school environment pollution-free.
Teachers guided the students and explained that cleanliness is not only the responsibility of a few people but a collective responsibility of everyone. Students were encouraged to use dustbins, avoid single-use plastic, keep their classrooms and surroundings clean, and develop the habit of maintaining cleanliness in their homes and communities as well.
The activity provided students with practical learning and helped them understand the connection between a clean environment, good health and a better quality of life. It also promoted teamwork, discipline, responsibility and respect for nature.

Independence Day Celebration at Akal Academy Bilga
Akal Academy Bilga celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The celebration was graced by the presence of the esteemed Chief Guest, Giani Paramjit Singh Khalsa from the USA.
The programme began with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, followed by a series of colourful and inspiring performances by the students. The students presented patriotic songs, poems, speeches and a beautiful choreography, filling the atmosphere with pride and love for the nation.
A special gesture by the Chief Guest made the celebration even more memorable. Refreshments were provided to the students by Giani Paramjit Singh Khalsa, who interacted warmly with them.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest shared valuable words of wisdom with the students. He encouraged them to always follow the path of truth, respect all religions and become good students and responsible citizens. He emphasized that true service to the nation begins with honesty, discipline, kindness and respect for others.
The students listened attentively to his inspiring message and expressed their gratitude for his valuable guidance.
The celebration concluded with heartfelt best wishes from the respected Principal Mam, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and encouraged everyone to uphold the values of patriotism, unity and responsible citizenship.
The Independence Day celebration at Akal Academy Bilga was a memorable and inspiring occasion that instilled a renewed sense of patriotism, unity and responsibility among all present.

The Nursery students of Akal Academy Bilga enthusiastically participated in the “Look, Think and Tell” activity. The children were shown different pictures and encouraged to observe them carefully, think about what they could see, and express their ideas in simple words.
Our honourable Principal Ma’am also motivated and encouraged the students to participate confidently and express their thoughts.
The activity helped the students develop their observation skills, thinking ability, vocabulary, speaking skills, and confidence. The children participated actively and enjoyed sharing their thoughts with their classmates and teachers.
Overall, the activity was interactive, enjoyable, and educational, providing young learners with an opportunity to learn through observation and communication.

💬🌟 Aggressiveness vs. Assertiveness Activity was organised at Akal Academy Bilga to help students understand the difference between expressing themselves confidently and responding aggressively. The activity encouraged respectful communication, emotional awareness, positive behaviour, and healthy interpersonal skills. 🤝✨

Dated on 07/08/2026 sharing is a caring activity held in the junior wing.

Students from classes Nur to 1st enthusiastically participated in the activity. On this day students brought Kheer, Puras, Pakora and Sandwich. While they ate while sitting together students from Nursery to 1st classes performed different activities. The event was hosted by Ms. Pushpa Kumari , Ms. Kajal delivered  a speech and taught the students about the value of sharing and caring.

At the end Vice Principal Ms. Ramandeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students for making this event a success and ate while sitting. All the students were much enjoyed.
