“Show and tell competition was held at IVY World School,Jalandhar. The.The classes from Beginners to K2 participated in it.Such competitions boost up the morale and confidence level of the kids.The champs spoke on unique topics like brain,seasons,globe,,plants,mobile......Some of them even spoke about their favorite toys and animals.The champs were fully geared up for their turn. The amazing handwork of the learners was appreciated by the judges.The results are as under:

As a part of thematic curriculum, IVY World School organized an outdoor trip of K1 students to departmental store,EASY-DAY for developing the observation and cognitive skills of the learners. The basic idea behind this trip was to make the children aware about the importance and nutrition value of different fruits , they learnt how to buy & weigh fruits, billing and payment. Importance of community helpers i.e Shopkeeper in our daily life. Children enjoyed weighing the fruits and waiting for their turns at billing counter. The thematic curriculum being run by Synergy School System aims at an overall development of the learners apart from academics.

Ivy World School salutes the nation

Ivy World School, Jalandhar celebrated India's 66th Republic Day with great pride and patriotic fervour. The event witnessed active participation from the budding leaders of the nation and the teachers alike. The festivities commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony followed by national anthem, evoking a strong sense of nationalism in everybody. A soulful song and inspiring speeches were presented by the Ivyians to mark the occasion.

The august gathering was addressed by the co-ordinator Mr. Imtazul Husain. He motivated the scholars by iterating the values and ethos that our country stands for. He told the students that the future of India lies on their young shoulders and they must do everything possible in order to make India a developed nation. The event culminated with the spirit of patriotism flying high and the young Ivyians taking a pledge to be better citizens of India.

Ivy World School, Jalandhar, presented Illiminazione – 2014, the showcase that brought together the talent and enthusiasm of Ivyians. The glittering event was presented over two days. The highlight of the day was the sheer effort of the students as they brought alive the tales from folklore and culture like Krishna, the tale of the Blue God to My Fair Lady, the chrysalis of a flower girl into the belle of the ball. Every aspect was given a lovely hue as the audience travelled from one beautiful performance to another. New milestones were covered and benchmarks set as the show unraveled the wonderful kaleidoscope of colour and performance. The function was graced by Sh.Lok Nath Angra, IPS, IGP,Zone-2,Jalandhar Sh.K.K.Vasal, Sh.Sanjeev Vasal, Dr. R.K Vasal, Mr.Madhav Rao, CEO Synergy Systems eminent local personalities, educationists and visionaries. Students were encouraged for the immense effort put in bringing together the event of the year as the audience put their hands together to applaude them.

Ivyians are yet ready to rock again. The practices for the founder's day function are on full swing. The students are putting in their best efforts to make this grand event an unforgetable day for all.
