National Unity Day
National Unity Day is celebrated annually on 31st October. It is the birthday of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and is celebrated to pay tribute to his efforts in uniting India. The day was introduced and inaugurated in 2014 by paying tribute at the statue of Sardar Patel. Each year this day gives out a message to maintain the integral strength of the nation. International Internet Day
Today in times of this pandemic when everything is being done online, internet becomes one of the basic necessities. LPU has more than 1000 Wi-Fi access points for intranet and internet access & around 70km of fibre optic cable spread throughout the campus supporting the network. LPU has even partnered with Reliance Communications Jionet for the same. Hence, team DYC wishes you a very speedy International Internet Day.

Eid Milad Un Nabi
Eid Milad Un Nabi is celebrated across the globe by Muslims to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. It is observed on the 12th day of Rabi’ al-awwal by Sunni Muslims whereas the Shia Muslims celebrate it on the 17th day. The entire day is dedicated to Prophet Muhammad and his preaching.

National First Responders Day is celebrated every year on 28th October to appreciate the brave and heroic acts of people who are at the scene of emergency on prime time. The day also celebrates all the firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, police officers and anyone who risks their own lives to save others. If you are or have been a first responder, then trust us you’re much appreciated.
