Dear Parents
Maths assessment worksheets are forwarded in your whatssap. Kindly note down the questions and solve them in your OLD NOTEBOOKS only.
Let the children work on their own.
Do not send them for any assistance even within the area. Self isolation is mandatory.
The worksheets will be solved in class once teaching begins.

*LESSON FOR PARENTS*

In two independent houses, separated by a compound two people were living, in one a retired person and in the other a techie.
They had planted identical saplings on either sides of the compound.
The techie used to give lot of water and manure to the plants.The retired,just small quantity of water and little manure.
The techies plant grew into lush green,leafy robust plant.
The retired person's plant was a near normal but much luxuriant than his neighbour's.
One night there was a heavy rain with gusty wind.
Next morning both came out to see the fate of the plants.
To techie's surprise his plant had got uprooted where as his neighbour's was unharmed.
Techie asks the retired as why his plant was uprooted despite such a good care where as the neighbour had hardly cared.
The retired person's answer should be a lesson for all of us.
Look young man, you had supplied every thing a plant would need,in abundance and the plant did not have to go in search of it.Your roots did not have go down. I was supplying just enough to keep it alive. For the rest roots had to go down into the ground to fulfil it's needs.
Since your roots were superficial the rain and wind could easily fell it.
Since my roots were pretty deeply grounded they could withstand the onslaught of the nature.
The same applies to your children too.

Dear Parents and children,
As you know this time would have been break time after the end of one academic year and before the beginning of a new one. So DO NOT WORRY.

We shall ensure that your children shall complete all academic activities as per the CBSE calendar.

In the meantime you are all requested to STAY HOME, Eat healthy and wash your hands regularly.

We shall soon begin to engage the children academically by sending you worksheets and lessons online as per the NCERT books which you can download free from the NCERT.

Children are requested to listen to their parents and help in every activity at home. That is also a part of your education.
All my babies - you are requested to listen to your parents. No fighting and no crying.

Girls AND boys classes 3-5

Learn to fold your clothes.
Dress up without the help of elders.
Do not create a mess at home.
Help your elders by obeying them.
Learn to spread the bedsheets neatly.
Learn to fold the blanket/ Quilt.
Play with your younger siblings and teach them.
Do not fight with each other.

Classes 5-8

Learn to make tea.
Help in serving food to your elders.
Help in washing clothes.
Help in washing the Utensils.
Put the clothes out to dry.
Learn to fold all clothes.
Pick up your utensils and put them away in the kitchen after meals.
Help in cleaning the house.
DO NOT GO OUT TO PLAY.

Classes 8 Onwards

Help in cooking.
Help in all household chores.
Learn to iron clothes. Help in anything that your parents ask you to.
Please keep washing your hands regularly.
Keep some grain and water out for birds.
This year I will ask your parents to help the school to give you the grades based on your behaviour.
We will start your studies soon.
