Apeejay School Rama Mandi organized an educational bus tour for the students of Nursery to UKG with the aim of providing them with an enjoyable and meaningful learning experience beyond the classroom.
The students were taken on a bus tour around the city to introduce them to various important places in their surroundings, including the Police Station, Railway Station, Bus Stand, Post Office, Mall, Hospital, Bank, and Petrol Pump.
The students remained seated safely inside the school bus throughout the tour. They did not get down or enter any of the places. As the bus passed each location, the teachers explained to the students what the place was, its purpose, and the important work carried out there.
At the Police Station, students were told about police officers and their role in keeping people safe. At the Railway Station, they learned about trains, platforms, and railway staff. While passing the Bus Stand, the teachers explained how buses help people travel from one place to another.
The students were introduced to the role of the Post Office in sending letters and parcels. At the Mall, they learned about shops, products, buying and selling. The Hospital was explained as a place where doctors and nurses take care of sick and injured people. At the Bank, students learned about saving money and the work of bank employees. At the Petrol Pump, teachers explained how vehicles are refuelled and the importance of safety.
The students showed great enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the journey. They observed the different places carefully and listened attentively to the explanations given by their teachers
