MEHAKPREET OF SWAMI SANT DASS PUBLIC SCHOOL JALANDHAR SCORES 98.8%,TOPS IN XII CBSE BOARD EXAMS 2026
The students of Swami Sant Dass Public School, Jalandhar brought laurels in academics with Mehakpreet Kaur scoring 98.8%-the city topper and the highest in Commerce stream, Anshika scored 95.6% highest in Non medical Japuji and Viran 93.6% in Medical stream respectively.119students appeared for AISSCE 2025 in March and achieved 100% pass result. Tanish Arora and Parth Kalia stood second and third in Commerce stream with 91.4and 91 respectively. In the Non medical stream Soumil stood second with 95.4%and Avni stood third with 94 % in the Non Medical stream .
The students scored a perfect 100 in Accountancy, English and Psychology. In Computers and Business Studies the highest was 99 . In Chemistry, Maths, Economics and Painting the highest was 98,97was the highest in Biology and 96 in Physics.17 students scored 90%and above and 59 students scored 80% and above.
The President of the school Swami Shantanand ji and Principal Dr Sonia Mago congratulated the students on their excellent performance and for bringing accolades to the institution.

Cyclothon – “Say No to Drugs” 🚴‍♂️
Our students enthusiastically participated in Cyclothon 4.0 organised by District Administration & District Olympic Association under the theme "Yudh Nashiyan Virudh", promoting a healthy, drug-free society and aimed at spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Cyclothon races (21 km, 10 km, 5 km) witnessed enthusiastic participation by all. During inauguration , Chief Guest Mr. Varjeet Walia (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar, who administered the anti-drug oath graced the occasion and inspired all. Various distinguished dignitaries including Smt. Divya P (ADC), Sh. Tejdeep Saini (ADC), Sh. Jayant Puri (ADCP), Sh. Ashok Meena (ADCP), Sh. Navdeep Singh (SDM), Smt. Shayari Malhotra (SDM), Smt. Asha Ji (ACG), S. Sarvjit Singh Samra, Mr. Piyush Sood, and S. Paramjit Singh Sachdeva were present.
The event witnessed an energetic atmosphere, with cyclists riding together in unity, carrying strong messages of positivity, fitness, and a drug-free future. The route was filled with excitement and a shared commitment to creating awareness in society.

We were honoured by the encouragement of our respected Principal , Dr Sonia Mago whose inspiring words motivated the students and emphasized the importance of staying healthy and drug-free.

Our students actively took part with great zeal and dedication, proudly representing the institution and contributing to the success of this meaningful initiative.

A well-organized and insightful Parents’ Orientation Session for Classes 6, 7, and 8 was conducted by our esteemed Principal, Dr. Sonia Mago.

The session aimed at building a strong school-parent partnership and provided a comprehensive understanding of the school’s functioning. Key highlights of the session included:

* Introduction to the School Vision & Values, emphasizing holistic development and character building
* Overview of the Academic Curriculum for Class 6, helping parents understand the learning framework
* Familiarization with School Rules & Policies to ensure a smooth and disciplined environment
* Insight into the Teaching Methodology & Learning Approach adopted by the school
* A detailed overview of Co-Curricular Activities and Activity-Based Learning, encouraging overall growth of students

During the Class 8 orientation , Counseling Psychologist from The Mind Clinic, Jalandhar, Ms. Shreya
Dogra was also present , who delivered an insightful and engaging lecture on various sensitive issues faced by children in today's time. She elaborated on important topics such as anger management, stress, anxiety, and other psychological challenges that adolescents often experience during their growing years. Ms Shreya Dogra was also present and shared valuable inputs regarding academic expectations and effective learning strategies.

The session was interactive and informative, with active participation from parents, who appreciated the school’s structured approach and vision.

World Library Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence in the school to highlight the importance of reading in shaping knowledge and intellect.

The occasion was graced by esteemed guest speakers Mr. Sharad Manocha, Associate Professor ( English Department) DAV College, Jalandhar, and Dr. G. S. Buttar ( Pbi Department) from Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. They shared their valuable insights on the significance of libraries as centers of learning and intellectual growth.

During the session, both speakers also spoke about the art and process of writing books. They guided students on how to develop ideas, structure their thoughts, and express creativity through writing. Their inspiring words motivated students not only to read more but also to explore their own potential as young writers.
The Principal, Dr. Sonia Mago, expressed her gratitude to the esteemed speakers for their enlightening session and highlighted that libraries are vibrant spaces that nurture curiosity and creativity. She also stressed the importance of choosing books over excessive mobile use, encouraging students to build strong reading habits.

✨ Investiture Ceremony 2026–27 ✨

Our institution proudly conducted the Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026–27 with great enthusiasm and dignity. The event marked the formal appointment of the newly elected student council, entrusting them with responsibilities and leadership roles.Prithmey Noor Singh was appointed as the Head Boy and Riva Dhawan as the Head Girl, while Jaiveer Singh and Rish*ta were selected as Junior Head Boy and Head Girl respectively leading the student council with pride and responsibility.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome to the guests and dignitaries, followed by the pinning of badges and the conferring of sashes to the student leaders. The Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, and other council members took the oath, pledging to uphold the values of the institution and carry out their duties with sincerity and commitment.

Our talented players showcased remarkable skills, determination, and team spirit at the 10th Punjab State Championship by School Games, held at Amritsar from 11th to 12 April 2026. Their commitment to excellence and perseverance helped them secure top positions and make us all proud.

Shinoy, a student of Class 8B, participated in the 100 metre race and has won Gold Medal , hence demonstrated great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. Shivanya of Class 5B brought laurels to the school by winning a Gold Medal in Yoga.

We are delighted to share a proud moment for our institution as our talented student participated in the First Punjab Dance Championship and brought great honor to the school.
Gurasees Kaur of II A secured 1st prize in the Punjabi Dance Championship 2026 in the Classical Dance category (3–7 years), held at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur, Jalandhar. She was also awarded a cash prize of ₹1000. She also won Frist Position in DANCE LEGEND OF PUNJAB held at LPU.
She showcased her grace, confidence, and exceptional talent. Her dedication and passion for dance truly shone on stage, earning her a trophy and a merit certificate.

The achievement reflects her hard work and commitment, and serves as an inspiration for all students to pursue their talents with determination.
