INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS AT SWAMI SANT DASS PUBLIC SCHOOL ,JALANDHAR.
Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour and patriotism in the premises of Swami Sant Dass Public School ,Jalandhar.The function began with the releasing of tricolour balloons by Principal Dr Sonia Mago.The teachers and students of Mahadevi Verma House presented an impact full presentation highlighting the need to keep the spirit of patriotism alive and honour the sacrifices of our leaders and raising voices against corruption and other problems.The cultural dances added colour and vibrancy to the day and emphasised the need to honour our cultural diversity..Principal Dr Sonia Mago gave an inspiring speech making the students imbibe the importance of freedom and also spoke about the role of every citizen in removing corruption and vices from the nation.She also motivated the students to participate in the growth and development of the nation by taking risks and developing innovative ideas and skills.

CAPACITY BUILDING ON KAUSHAL VIKAS IN CBSE, CONDUCTED AT SWAMI SANT DASS PUBLIC SCHOOL ,JALANDHAR
A capacity building program for prospective resource persons on “IMPLEMENTING KAUSHAL VIKAS IN CLASS IX”was conducted at Swami Sant Dass Public School ,Jalandhar on 8 August 2026.This program was conducted as per the guidelines of NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 under the Skill Development program of CBSE.The program was conducted in collaboration with Jalandhar Sahodaya Complex.This important session was attended by Principals of Jalandhar District, Ms. Deepa Dogra and Sahodaya functionaries.
The esteemed resource persons for this learning event were Dr Sonia Mago ,Principal Swami Sant Dass Public School ,Jalandhar and DTC Jalandhar District and Dr. Shyda Rana ,Curriculum Developer,Content Curator and Implementor of NEP 2020. The session was virtually addressed by renowned CBSE personality Dr Biswajit Saha ,Director ,Skill Education and Training ,CBSE ,about various aspects of implementation and conducting in the classroom.Dr RP Singh ,Associate Professor and Additional Director ,Skill Training ,CBSE resolved the queries of the participants with his valuable knowledge and insights,The participants learned the integration of Kaushal Vikas in school curriculum and its importance in developing skills and vocational training .Several engaging activities were conducted like ph testing of different types of soil,apparel making ,brochure making to understand the significance of skill development. The Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club, in collaboration with the Heritage Club, organized an enriching School Museum Exhibition during the Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) at Swami Sant Dass Public School, Udasin Ashram, J.P. Nagar, Jalandhar.
