We are representing our UNSM NSS wing at the State-level Yoga and Naturopathy Training Camp, sponsored by the State NSS Cell, Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Odisha, at Ayushman Bhawan, Gopalgaon, Balasore.
The camp is supported by Utkal University of Culture, Bhubaneswar, and organised by the Institute of Nature Cure and Yogic Science, Chidiapolo, Balasore.

Our NSS volunteers with PO-Kadambini Dash recently participated in a four-day program at Mahanadi adventure water sports activities. Their hard work and dedication throughout this experience have truly shone, and we are incredibly grateful for their efforts. Their commitment and enthusiasm have been inspiring, and we deeply appreciate everything they have contributed.

We’re delighted to share another inspiring success story from our NSS wing. Following the wonderful adventure water sports camp at Mahanadi, three of our dedicated NSS volunteers participated in the Mahendragiri adventure camp in Gajapati. Out of 141 passionate volunteers, five were honored for their outstanding contributions with free membership, showcasing their commitment and hard work. We are particularly proud of Biswaranjan Sahu and Hritik Lenka from our NSS team, who were recognized as two of the best volunteers. The NSS unit of our college celebrated National Youth Day with great enthusiasm and heartfelt appreciation. The meeting was graciously presided over by our principal, and we were honored to have Dr. Priyanath Mohapatra as the chief speaker. It was a beautiful occasion where students were recognized for their efforts and achievements. We were fortunate to have the support and presence of our dedicated faculty members, who contributed to the warmth and camaraderie of the event. Overall, it was a meaningful day that highlighted the potential and spirit of our youth.

UNS Mohavidyalaya has proudly embraced a tobacco-free initiative, marking a significant milestone in promoting health and well-being within its community. The program featured an engaging address by Dr. Basant Kumar Panda, the esteemed Medical Officer of Madhuban CHC, who captivated the audience with his insightful knowledge and passion for public health. This inspiring event was meticulously organized by the dedicated NSS unit in partnership with Madhuban CHC, Jajpur, fostering a spirit of collaboration and commitment to a healthier future.

In recognition of World AIDS Day, UNS Mohavidyalaya held an awareness program led by Dr. Debasmita Routray, with the participation of Principal Mrs. Sarada Kar. We extend our special thanks to Dr. Kadambini Dash, the NSS Program Officer, for organizing this important meeting focused on raising awareness about HIV/AIDS.

The NSS unit of UNS Mohavidyalaya donated four units of blood at Utkal University on 27th November 2025 to celebrate the 83rd foundation day of the university.
