Good Friday is beautiful because it reminds us that we matter to the lord. As we remember the crucifixion of Jesus today, may we also remember to follow his teachings of love, compassion, and forgiveness.

Holi is celebrated on the Pratipada Tithi of the Chaitra month.The festival marks the arrival of spring and thanksgiving for a good harvest. It is the time to unwind, de-stress, rejoice, relive and bond along with sweets, thandai and colours.

Dear All,
With great pleasure we are pleased to announce that RGIPT is organizing its second national online write-up contest for girls under the banner of "URJA-SHAKTI-2022"in collaboration with IOCL. The date of the contest is from 25th December 2022 to 31st January 2023. The write-up contest is based on various themes related to energy. The contest is open for all UG engineering college female students. This is one step more from the Institute on the path of Women Empowerment. The first, second and third prize are of worth 20,000 ,15,000 and 10,000 INR .Also, there will be 9 consolation prizes of INR 5,000 each. Also, there is an opportunity for the first three winners for internships at RGIPT on the topic of their research interest. I would request UG students to show their ideas and participate in huge numbers so that they don’t miss this golden opportunity.

Lal Bahadur Shastri was born in Mughalsarai, Uttar Pradesh, on October 2, 1904, becoming India's second prime minister after Jawaharlal Nehru. Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, and Annie Beasant all served as inspirations for him. He joined the campaign for independence and ascended the political ladder over time.

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow, learn as if you were to live forever”
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, fondly remembered as ‘Bapu’ was born on October 2, 1869. Also known as the Father of the Nation, Gandhiji was one of the pioneers who dedicated his life to India’s struggle for Independence. He preached us the path of non-violence and employed non violent resistance to lead the successful campaign for the independence of India from the colonial rule. Gandhi also fought against a lot of the social evils like racism, caste discrimination, and the practice of untouchability.
May we all have the courage to live up to Bapu’s ideals of universal brotherhood. On his 153rd birth anniversary, RGIPT ACM SC salutes the man who led us to the freedom of thoughts, words and actions and shook the world with his great ideologies!

Onam is celebrated every year in the month of Chingam. Chingam is the first month of the Malayalam Calendar. To commemorate the demon king Mahabali's return to earth, the day is observed. One of the most kind-hearted rulers mentioned in the Hindu scriptures, Mahabali was a devoted follower of Lord Vishnu.
