Manipal University is launching the first ever season of Cultural and Sports fest for its employees - "Xpression: Unbox the Inbox."

It’s an employee engagement & motivation fest reducing employees’ stress levels, boosting their overall health and well being & reinforcing interpersonal relationships, impacting employee happiness, strengthening their ties with the organization and ultimately deepening employee engagement.The event would include various cultural and sports activities. Sports activities include Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis and fun games such as Lemon & spoon race, Sack race, Tug of War & Musical Chair. Cultural events include Fashion Show, Manipal's Got Talent, MUJ Chef & Rangoli.

Manipal University Jaipur celebrated its 5th Convocation. In Day-1 event, Mr Hari Menon, CEO Bigbasket was the Chief Guest. Nearly 300 graduates participated and received the degree.

Life Time Achievement Award to Dr. Ramdas M Pai

Padma Bhushan Dr. Ramdas M Pai, Chairman Emeritus - Manipal Education and Medical Group and President & Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), has been awarded the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award 2018’, in recognition of his enormous contributions in the fields of Education and Healthcare by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).

The citation has described him as an epitome of dedication and perseverance, who has contributed immensely at national and international level. He has spent his entire life working with all the Group of Institutions and his name has till date been synonymous with perseverance, dedication and attaining a larger purpose in all human endeavor.

He has contributed immensely to making the Manipal Brand a respected and trusted name not just in India but internationally as well. His principled stance, his unwavering commitment to promoting affordable and accessible education and healthcare has greatly benefited the public at large. His quiet and unassuming generosity through the Manipal Foundation, stand eloquent testimony to his care for the vulnerable sections of our society. We are privileged to have his guidance thus far in our journey and we seek his continued guidance as we take many more steps forward in realizing the dreams of late Dr TMA Pai and Dr Pai himself.

This is a proud moment for all of us. We, MUJ Family take this opportunity to congratulate him for his untiring, dedicated perseverance and devotion to his causes which have won him this award and other accolades earlier. May his unremitting endeavor go on with undiminished vigor.
