𝗣𝗵𝗗 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆/𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰. Directorate of Research (DoR) welcomed new batch PhD scholars who went through different familiarization sessions on PhD regulations at Manipal University Jaipur.

The programme begun with a welcome message to all scholars by 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝗠𝗨𝗝 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗼𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿 followed by a message from 𝗖𝗺𝗱𝗲. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗿, 𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗠𝗨𝗝 who mentioned the state-of-the-art research facilities in the University, different schemes to financially support full-time PhD scholars, and wished the incumbents the best of luck in their PhD journey.

In his Presidential address, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗶𝘁𝗶 𝗡𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮 emphasized solving real societal problems and what it truly means to be a researcher. An avid and accomplished researcher himself, he mentioned his research on Nano Robots and how he deep-dived into this highly specialized area during his PhD. He stated how researchers and research scholars are close to his heart and mentioned new forthcoming research initiatives planned to further enhance the research ecosystem at MUJ. If one is dedicated and works with sincerity, results are bound to come, and one must look beyond the minimum by setting new goals and stretching boundaries.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗡𝗶𝘁𝘂 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗿, 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗿, 𝗠𝗨𝗝 and Deans of different faculties 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶, 𝗙𝗼𝗘, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗶, 𝗙𝗼𝗦, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗬𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘃, 𝗙𝗼𝗗, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿, 𝗙𝗼𝗠𝗖, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿, 𝗙𝗼𝗟 also graced the occasion with their benign presence and wished new scholars the very best in their journey.
𝗗𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁, 𝗗𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗸 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮 (Deputy Directors Research) and 𝗗𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗵𝗶𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗗𝗿 𝗔𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘆𝗮 (Assistant Directors Research) were present and conducted post-lunch sessions for the scholars.
