Dear Parents and Students,
​As the sun shines brighter, it’s time to pause, reflect, and recharge! The much-awaited Summer Vacations are finally here.

​To ensure our students have a perfect balance of fun, relaxation, and learning, please keep the following guidelines in many during the break:

​📚 Holiday Homework: All holiday homework has been uploaded to the school portal/shared in class groups. We encourage students to complete it independently, neatly, and creatively. Homework submission is compulsory by [Submission Date] as it carries internal marks.

​🌱 Healthy Routines: Encourage your child to rise early, practice basic yoga or stretching, and cut back on screen time. Let’s swap smartphones for board games, books, and outdoor play!

​🤝 Character Building: Use this time to teach life skills. Encourage children to help with household chores, water the plants, feed the birds, and spend quality time with grandparents.

​🍉 Stay Hydrated & Safe: Guard against the scorching heat by drinking plenty of water, eating fresh fruits, and avoiding direct midday sun.
​We wish all our students a safe, joyful, and creative summer break! Take this time to make beautiful memories with family.

🔍 Did You Know? The History of Labour Day
Today we celebrate International Labour Day, but do you know how it started?
* Global Origin: It traces back to 1886 in Chicago, where workers fought for the 8-hour workday rule.
* In India: The first Labour Day was celebrated in Madras (Chennai) in 1923. It was organized by the Labour Kisan Party of Hindustan.
* Symbolism: The Red Flag was used for the first time in India during this celebration to represent the strength and unity of workers.

May 1 2026, the campus of Rathi Public Sr. Sec. School, Dhawas was filled with energy, gratitude, and talent as we celebrated International Labour Day 2026. Our students from Nursery to Class 8 put up a spectacular show to honor the hard work of our dedicated staff!
