There is a wise old saying "You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink". Therefore, if you want the horse to drink, you have to first make it thirsty. When it gets thirsty, you need not take it to the water or the water to it, it will on its own accord search out the water and drink it.
We can buy the best books, guides, video courses, and put our children in the best educational institutions, yet we just cannot make them study and pass the exams, unless they take keen interest in study. To make them study, first of all we have to arouse the right kind of desire, interest and thirst in them.
The most difficult task in the world is to make people do something against their will. We cannot force or compel them to do something only because we want it, their ego comes into play. Instead of forcing them, "make them want to do things". The best way to get people to do something is to arouse in them a burning desire. First, stand in their shoes for some time, look at the things from their point of view and find out what would make them feel thirsty and hungry. Do not talk about what you want, instead spend some time, find out as to what other people want, and show them the right path to get it
All human beings have tremendous energy, power, strength and potentialities but they are making use of only a small part of their physical and mental resources. We should motivate them with our encouraging words to plunge into action to achieve success.
