PGDM-IEV Students Visit to DST-Sponsored Project SHRI at IIS University, Jaipur

PGDM-IEV students participated in an insightful session for millets nutrition and wellness as a part of a project, sponsored by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) SHRI at IIS University, Jaipur.
The session was conducted by Dr. Mani Singh and focused on value addition and processing of millets, highlighting their nutritional importance.
The hands-on exposure helped students understand innovative techniques, product development possibilities, and entrepreneurial opportunities in the millet value chain.
Such experiential learning strengthens their knowledge and encourages them to contribute towards nutrition security, rural livelihood enhancement, and agri-innovation.

It's an excellent chance for students to learn about justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity through activities like speeches, drawings, and slogans. Powerful slogans and captions help young learners express ideas and understand their rights and duties as citizens.

Students of the PGDM–Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development (IEV) program at CCS National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCS NIAM), Jaipur had the enriching opportunity to attend the First Regional Conference on “Water Use Efficiency in the Irrigation Sector”, organized by the Bureau of Water Use Efficiency (BWUE) under the National Water Mission, Ministry of Jal Shakti. The session featured valuable guidance from distinguished leaders including Ms. Archana Varma (AS & MD, National Water Mission), Shri Sumant Narain (Joint Secretary, National Water Mission), and Shri Piyush Ranjan (Director, BWUE).
The conference offered our students deep insights into the evolving landscape of water management. They gained a clearer understanding of key policy initiatives such as MCAD, PDMC, and groundwater sustainability; explored cutting-edge technologies including SCADA-based canal automation and micro-irrigation systems; and strengthened their perspective on sustainable agriculture through concepts like Sahi Fasal, crop–water alignment, and state-level best practices. Direct interactions with policymakers, researchers, farmers, and FPO representatives added real-world context to their academic learning, while success stories from the field highlighted the transformative impact of efficient water practices.

This exposure not only broadened their knowledge but also reinforced their commitment to driving innovation and sustainable solutions in the agricultural ecosystem.

We were delighted to host Prof. Pankaj Roy Gupta, Director of AI Consulting at Univitt AI Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Universal AI University, for an inspiring and interactive guest lecture on “The Analytics Revolution: Reshaping Management and Decision-Making.”
