Raffles University Hosts Seminar on Risk Management in Collaboration with IIA India
Neemrana, February 5, 2025 – The Alabbar School of Management and Placement Cell at Raffles University, in partnership with The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) India, successfully organized a seminar on Risk Management, bringing together industry professionals, academics, and students.
Hon'ble President Prof. Rajender Singh Sangwan inaugurated the event, emphasizing the strategic importance of risk management in corporate settings. Dean Prof. Sanjeev Kumar highlighted the role of such seminars in bridging academic and professional learning.
Key sessions featured insights from industry experts:
Ms. CA Sana Baqai (President, IIA India, Delhi Branch) and Mr. Ashish Aggarwal (Chair, Student Development Committee) discussed internal auditing’s role in risk management.
Mr. Gaurav Bhatia (Treasurer, Chair of Training Committee) and Mr. Rajjan Verma (Membership Committee) provided practical strategies on risk management frameworks.
A dynamic Q&A session followed, engaging attendees in deeper discussions. The event concluded with a memento felicitation and a vote of thanks by Dr. Rajpal Kaushalya, Dean of the School of Basic and Applied Sciences.
