📣 *MOST URGENT* 📣
Dear MNIT Alumni,

This is a heartfelt appeal for one of our own.

Our 2002 CSE alumni Amit Jagdishprasad Gupta, currently Country Head at Tech Mahindra, Qatar, has been detained by Qatar State Security since January 1, 2025, without any charges, and has now been in solitary confinement for over 5 months.

Despite multiple follow-ups by his distressed family and support from the Indian Embassy, there has been no clarity, no charges, and no relief. His elderly parents recently met him for only 5 minutes and were shattered by his condition. His two young children (aged 6 and 11) keep asking about their father every day.

MNITJAA President recently met Hon’ble Speaker Shri Om Birla ji along with Amit’s family, seeking urgent intervention.

We can’t wait any longer.

We are launching a Twitter Trend *today 21.05.2025 at 8:00 PM*
Use the hashtag * *
Tag concerned authorities and ministries. Let’s raise our collective voice to bring justice, visibility, and action.

We will share related tweets and content for this in evening.

Let’s stand with Amit.
Let’s bring him home.

Regards
MNITJAA

Its 23rd march .....plz pay ur tribute to..shaheed Bhagat singh..shaheed Rajguru...shaheed Sukhdev....and remember them and there sacrifice today...

Must read about Shaheed Bhagat Singh: It was only on the 116th day of his fast, on October 5, 1929 that Bhagat Singh gave up his hunger strike (surpassing the 97 day world record for hunger strikes which was set by an Irish revolutionary). During this hunger strike that lasted 116 days and ended with the British succumbing to his wishes.
Please Pay tribute ....
