The 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐉𝐚𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐫, successfully hosted its 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 on Saturday, October 11, 2025, with Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma ji, Hon'ble Cheif Minister of Rajasthan, gracing the occasion. Hon'ble Director Prof. N. P. Padhy declared the convocation open and as the signed the scroll of award of degrees.
35 MSc. students and 3 PhD scholars of the department of Mathematics received their degrees in the 19th convocation of MNIT Jaipur

A one-day workshop on “MATLAB: Engineering Solutions and AI in Engineering” was successfully organised for B.Tech (Electrical) second-year students on 30 October 2025 at MNIT Jaipur. The workshop was conducted as part of the project-based learning component of the Advanced Engineering Mathematics course offered by the Department of Mathematics.

Experts from MathWorks delivered insightful sessions on leveraging MATLAB for optimisation, data-driven modelling, and AI applications in engineering, with a strong focus on real-world and industrial use cases. Participants also took part in interactive, hands-on sessions and gained valuable practical exposure to MATLAB tools, live scripts, and workflows.

We are grateful to the MathWorks team, Pratyush Roy, Dr. Sauvik Chatterjee and Dr. Saumya Chaturvedi, for their guidance and support in making the workshop a great success. Appreciation is also extended to the faculty coordinator, Dr. Priyanka Harjule, and students for their enthusiastic participation. Initiatives like this continue to bridge the gap between theory and practice, preparing students for future engineering challenges.

From heartfelt poems and engaging skits to cheerful activities, the students expressed their gratitude and affection towards the mentors who guide, inspire, and motivate them every day 🙏💖.

The Department of Mathematics warmly welcomed its new M.Sc. (Mathematics) batch with an orientation programme held on 12 August 2025. Setting a cordial tone for the academic journey ahead, the Head of the Department, Dr. Santosh Chaudhary, greeted the students and encouraged them to make the most of their time at the department. DPGC Convener, Dr. Om P. Suthar, then guided the newcomers through the department’s academic and administrative processes, while also introducing them to the wealth of resources, facilities, and opportunities that will support and enrich their learning experience over the next two years.
