On 16th of feb 2026, An inspiring and intellectually enriching academic interaction was conducted at the Department of Rachana Sharir, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, offering students a meaningful introduction to the rich anatomical wisdom of Ayurveda blended seamlessly with modern learning methodologies.
The visit was thoughtfully led by all the faculty members , along with dedicated PG Scholars , whose guidance and academic insight added depth and clarity to the session.
Through interactive discussions, conceptual correlations, and learner-centric approaches, the session effectively bridged classical Ayurvedic anatomical principles with contemporary educational practices. It encouraged students to critically engage with Sharir Rachana, appreciate its clinical relevance, and develop a holistic perspective that harmonizes traditional knowledge with modern scientific understanding.
The interaction proved to be both motivating and enriching, leaving students inspired to pursue anatomical studies with renewed curiosity and academic rigor.

Mr. Yadvinder Goma, Hon’ble Ayush Minister of Himachal Pradesh, graciously visited the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, accompanied by his family.
He was cordially received by Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, Vice Chancellor, NIA. During his visit, the Hon’ble Minister also toured the Department of Rachana Sharir, where he was warmly welcomed by the HOD and DSW Prof. Sunil Kumar Yadav and rest of the faculty members and Ph.D, PG scholars.
Mr. Goma appreciated the advanced infrastructure, academic excellence, and the department’s significant contribution to Ayurvedic education and research. He commended the institute for its continued dedication to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of Ayurveda.
The visit marked a proud and memorable occasion for NIA, Jaipur.

It was truly a proud and memorable occasion for all of us as the Hon’ble Minister of AYUSH, Shri Prataprao Jadhav Ji, graciously visited our Maharshi Dadhichi Smriti Vatika at Jagga Ki Bavri.

The National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur, celebrated its Golden Jubilee on 9 February 2026, commemorating 50 years of excellence in Ayurvedic education, research, patient care, and professional training since its establishment in 1976.
The landmark occasion was graciously attended by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma; Hon’ble Union Minister of State (IC) for Ayush, Shri Prataprao Jadhav; and Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Ayush, Rajasthan, Shri Premchand Bairwa, along with several distinguished dignitaries, including Swami Shri Balmukund Ji (MLA, Hawa Mahal), Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Dr. Maneesha Kothekar, Chairman, NCIMS, and Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, NIA.
The celebration reaffirmed NIA’s pivotal role as a national institution dedicated to the advancement of Ayurveda through education, research, and holistic healthcare delivery.

National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur inaugurated its Swarna Jayanti Mahotsav on the occasion of its 50th Foundation Day with a sacred Puja–Havan, cultural programmes, and a felicitation ceremony.
The event was graced by AYUSH Secretary Padma Shri Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Sharma, along with several senior physicians and officials.
Addressing the gathering, the AYUSH Secretary lauded NIA as a leading centre of Ayurvedic education, research, and healthcare, appreciating its innovations rooted in Ayurveda.
