The Department of MCA, in collaboration with the Institution Industry Cell and Institution’s Innovation Council, Xavier Institute of Management and Informatics, St. Xavier’s College Jaipur, conducted a 20-day Advanced Training Program on Advanced Concepts of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with Algorithm Design and Project Implementation from 1st to 24th April 2026 for MCA II and IV Semester students. Resource person Mr. Ritesh Jain led the sessions organized by Dr. Madhu Sharma, Director, XIMI & & Head of the MCA Department with the coordination of Dr. Poonam Sharma with student coordinators Prithvi Singh Rathore, Aksh*ta Sharma, and Dishika Sahu, focusing on deepening students’ technical proficiency through advanced ML algorithms, model optimization, dataset handling, and real-time project development. The hands-on training integrated theoretical knowledge with practical implementation, enhancing analytical thinking, research orientation, and industry-level problem-solving skills. Students were evaluated through a final quiz and project submission, and certificates were awarded to successful participants. The program significantly strengthened their ability to design and implement ML models, preparing them for internships and industry roles.

The Department of MCA, in collaboration with the Institution Industry Cell and Institution’s Innovation Council, Xavier Institute of Management and Informatics, St. Xavier’s College Jaipur, successfully organized a 30-hour Hands-on Training in Python-based Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from February 2 to March 30, 2026 for MCA II and IV Semester students. Led by resource person Mr. Ritesh Jain and organized by Dr. Madhu Sharma, Director, XIMI & Head of the MCA Department, with Dr. Poonam Sharma as faculty coordinator and Prithvi Singh Rathore, Aksh*ta Sharma, and Dishika Sahu as student coordinators, the program aimed to bridge theory and real-world applications through daily sessions from 9:35 AM to 11:35 AM covering Python, data preprocessing, supervised and unsupervised learning, and AI applications. Students actively implemented algorithms and models on their laptops, enhancing problem-solving and analytical skills, and were assessed through a final-day quiz and project submission. The mandatory workshop concluded with e-certificates for successful participants, proving highly beneficial in building industry-oriented AI/ML skills and strengthening career readiness.

The Xavier Institute of Management and Informatics of St. Xavier’s College successfully organized a one-day workshop titled “Flow into Wellness with Yoga” on April 6, 2026. The workshop was part of the Audit Course: Stress Management by Yoga and was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Yoga, Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University, Jaipur. Dr. Shatrughan Singh, Assistant Professor and Yoga Expert from JRRSU, served as the resource person for the event. He emphasized that true wellness comes from within and demonstrated how yoga nurtures the body, mind, and soul to foster balance and inner peace.The event was organized under the leadership of Dr. Madhu Sharma, Director, XIMI, with Dr. Swati Tiwari and Dr. Rupali Deora as the faculty coordinators.

The Industrial Visit to Yakult was successfully conducted by IIC and Institution Industry Cell of Xavier
Institute of Management and Informatics of St. Xavier’s College Jaipur, on April 9th, 2026. MBA and
MCA students gained valuable insights into Yakult’s operations, probiotic production process, and
industry practices. The visit provided a great opportunity for students to learn about the company’s
culture and industry trends. The event organiser was Dr. Madhu Sharma Director, XIMI and teacher
coordinators were Dr. Poonam Sharma and Dr. Rupali Deora and Student Coordinators were Joel
and Aksh*ta from MCA program. Participants appreciated the experience, and it was a great learning
opportunity for all involved

The Xavier Institute of Management and Informatics of St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur successfully organized a two-day Boot Camp on Digital Marketing with focus on AI-Powered Digital Marketing Tools on April 15–16, 2026. Mr. Mahesh Thapa served as the workshop trainer and led the sessions with industry-focused insights. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Madhu Sharma, Director, XIMI, and coordinated by Dr. Shikha Arora Bakshi, HOD, XIMI. The boot camp aimed to equip students with hands-on knowledge and practical skills in e-Commerce marketing, with special emphasis on how AI-powered tools are transforming digital strategy, campaign automation, content optimization, analytics, and customer targeting. Over two days, participants engaged in live demonstrations, interactive exercises, and real-time problem-solving tasks to gain industry-relevant exposure. The sessions successfully bridged classroom theory with current market practices and were well-received by students for their practical and job-oriented approach.

This occasion honours the dedication, perseverance, and accomplishments of our students as they reach a significant academic milestone.
