Messmerizing Performances by Guest Artists Ms Shubhra Talegaonkar (Vocal) from Agra and Dr Vijay Siddh (Tabla) from Jaipur.

Sangeet Kala Kendra Jaipur is a branch of Sangeet Kala Kendra Agra, a branch of 71 years old institute, founded by Late. Pt Raghunath Talegaonker to serve Indian Classical Music in the era of modernization and globalisation of world where our base values are getting diminished and we are losing the feeling of Unity.

About the Mentor

Pt. Girindra Talegaonkar is a brilliant exponent in the field of Indian classical music- both vocal and instrumental.

Though he is well distinguished in Hindustani classical music, he is also credited for Marathi abhang and Rajasthani Folk Music. Pt. Girindra was born in a family of musicians in Agra and initiated into music by his father Late Pt. Raghunath Talegaonkar, a renowned musician of Gwalior Gharana. Pandit Ji has a unique style as it is influenced by a number of great artists of India. He is well known for the khayal form as well as for his great rendition of Tappa and Thumri.
