Hydration is essential for maintaining overall health, as water plays a critical role in nearly every bodily function. It helps regulate body temperature, supports digestion, transports nutrients, and eliminates waste through sweat, urine, and bowel movements. Proper hydration also keeps joints lubricated, promotes healthy skin, and enhances cognitive performance by improving focus and energy levels. Dehydration, even in mild forms, can lead to fatigue, headaches, and reduced physical and mental performance. To stay hydrated, it’s important to drink water regularly and consume water-rich foods, especially during physical activity or in hot climates.

In Ayurveda, obesity is known as Sthoulyatha or Meda Roga which is caused by the aggravation of Kapha dosha. According to Ayurveda, one among the three basic elements of which all things in universe is made up of is Kapha. It can be correlated to a substance which is unctuous, cold, heavy, thick, sluggish, slimy, etc.

From the Ayurvedic point of view, the key cause is found in the lifestyle and diet choices that disturb the balance. Ayurveda views weight imbalance and obesity as something that should be corrected before it can contribute to other health problems.

mMenstrual blood is viewed as a secondary tissue of 'Rasa' (plasma or nutritional fluid that bathes bodily cells). This plasma or nutritional fluid is the first tissue that is formed in the body as a direct product of digestion.

According to Ayurveda, the menstrual flow is governed by vata dosha, the energy that oversees all movement in the body-mind. Simply speaking, Ayurveda recommends that, during a time of intense internal movement—which is what's happening during menstruation—the best remedy is to use opposite qualities to balance.

The cause is prolonged factors that provoke Vata dosha (food-habit-medicine-age-cold geographical area-cold season, etc.). Further, vitiated Vata takes shelter in the debilitated muscles and vitiates the Kapha dosha. Thus, a painful condition followed by spasm/bulging is caused by declining muscular strength.

Too little potassium, calcium or magnesium in the diet can cause leg cramps.
