Bravo! To the 29 teachers from the Government Colleges of Rajasthan, who appeared for their DELF A1 exams at Alliance Française Jaipur on June 15.
On their way to become trained professionals of French language, these teachers are receiving intensive training as part of the French for All program for Rajasthan, launched by the French Institute in India in collaboration with the Commissionerate of Education, Govt of Rajasthan and Alliance Française Jaipur.
They will continue their A2 and B1 journeys with the final DELF of B1 scheduled in December.

Faces, sounds and silhouettes from an evening of bAlllAd.
An immersive public performance led by French experimental musician Bertrand Devendeville, against the backdrop of the impressive Patrika Gate in Jaipur. We hoped for a starry, starry night, we got a stormy, stormy evening, and that's perfect because nothing else could have brought out the magical beauty of this performance. Not a sound on the outside, yet we could see the audience grooving. 🎵 🎧
No better way to celebrate this month of music with the World Music Festival. This performance was brought to India by The French Institute in India, in collaboration with the network of Alliances Françaises.
The event at Patrika was made possible by Rajasthan Patrika, official art patron for the event and Radio FM Tadka, media partner.
A big thanks to the artist for his unrelenting energy and that oh-so-cool vibe!
Swipe to the last slide to say hello to our brilliant team of volunteers who made sure that everything went off smoothly, well almost 😬😜

A big thanks to for showcasing the event for her amazing blog

BELC 2026: Back from Goa!
Our Academic Coordinator, Noel Bieni Factor Elogan, has just returned from the BELC India 2026 pedagogical seminar, organized by France Éducation International at Goa University from May 25 to 29.
The program featured two intensive modules one on teaching French for academic purposes and another on using literary texts in the FLE (French as a Foreign Language) classroom providing concrete, immediately applicable tools to enrich our courses!
It was a week of valuable exchanges with teachers from across India and beyond, set in an atmosphere that was both studious and friendly.
A huge thank you to France Éducation International, the Institut Français in India, and Goa University for the impeccable organization of this event.
Our learners will soon benefit greatly from all this renewed energy! 🇫🇷

On World Environment Day, June 5th 2026, we are screening Not a Wasteland: Tale of the Desert.
This film is an attempt to listen to the land, to the people who call it home, and to question how we define progress in places that are too often overlooked.
This 35-minute documentary reveals a living desert of grasslands, shrublands, and sacred groves, challenging the perception of deserts as barren wastelands. Instead, it highlights their ecological, cultural, and climate significance, offering a different way of seeing and understanding these landscapes.
