September 13, 2024 — In a significant step towards community engagement and rural empowerment, Law and Physiotherapy students from Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University conducted a street play in Village Boraj, Jaipur, on September 13, 2024, under the banner of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.
The street play aimed to raise awareness about the increasing menace of cyber frauds and to educate the rural community about the benefits of physiotherapy treatments. The event featured dynamic performances by students, who used creative storytelling and engaging dialogues to highlight how villagers can protect themselves from cyber scams and fraudulent activities. The play emphasized practical measures that the local community can take to safeguard their digital presence and financial assets. Simultaneously, the Physiotherapy students shed light on the significance of physiotherapy in daily life.

This initiative was conducted as part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, a flagship program of the Government of India that aims to bring transformational change in rural development processes . The students’ efforts were well-received, with local residents expressing gratitude for the valuable information provided in an easily understandable and interactive format.
By participating in such outreach activities, Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University continues to empower its students to contribute meaningfully to society, encouraging them to become ambassadors of change and development in rural India.
