Mahapragya School Empowers Commerce Students Through Educational Visit to Verka Milk Plant
At Mahapragya School, education extends far beyond textbook theory. Driven by the core belief that practical exposure is essential for mastering business dynamics, the school actively organizes Outdoor Educational Programmes (OEPs) to connect classroom concepts with real-world industrial operations.
Continuing this commitment to experiential learning, the students of Classes XI and XII (Commerce) visited the Verka Milk Plant, Ludhiana, to gain first-hand insight into the dairy manufacturing industry.
During the visit, students toured the state-of-the-art facility and observed every phase of the operational chain—from large-scale milk collection and pasteurization to automated packaging and supply chain distribution. Plant officials provided detailed explanations of the quality control protocols, strict hygiene standards, and management strategies that power large-scale dairy production. The senior commerce students engaged actively throughout the tour, posing insightful questions regarding financial operations, inventory management, and market distribution strategies, making the experience both highly practical and academically enriching.
