Strengthening Coordination for Maritime Development 🤝

During his visit to Bhubaneswar, Paradip Port Authority (PPA) Chairperson Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit paid separate courtesy calls on senior Odisha Government officials:

Strengthening Railway Connectivity for Paradip Port 🚆⚓

Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, Paradip Port Authority, visited Bhubaneswar today and held discussions with Shri Parmeshwar Funkwal, General Manager, East Coast Railway, and Shri Sanjay Kumar Mishra, PCOM & Member, Paradip Port Authority Board.

The discussions focused on strengthening rail connectivity, improving cargo evacuation and supporting the continued growth of Paradip Port.

⚓ Leadership Visit at Paradip Port Authority

Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit assumed the additional charge of Chairperson, Paradip Port Authority, and visited the Port to review key activities and interact with Shri T. Venu Gopal, Deputy Chairperson, along with Heads of Departments and senior officials.

The visit focused on port operations, infrastructure development and ongoing projects, with discussions aimed at enhancing efficiency, strengthening infrastructure and advancing the Port’s growth and development.

The Ladies Wing, Paradip Port Club organised a Plantation Drive at Saraswati Sisu Vidya Mandir, Paradip, on 31st August 2026, promoting environmental awareness and the importance of greenery among students.

The programme was inaugurated by Shri Sampad Chandra Swain, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Government of Odisha, in the presence of members of the Ladies Wing, Paradip Port Club.
