World Meteorological Day takes place every year on 23 March and commemorates the coming into force on 23 March 1950 of the Convention establishing the World Meteorological Organization. It showcases the essential contribution of National Meteorological and Hydrological Services to the safety and wellbeing of society and is celebrated with activities around the world.

Everybody’s life is always impacted by doctors. We hurry to the doctor whenever we need assistance with our health, and ever since the coronavirus emerged, doctors have assumed superhuman status. While we were in isolation, doctors never stopped fighting for the lives of afflicted patients. To combat the pandemic and help the victims recover, doctors did everything they could. They are unquestionably the greatest heroes of all time, not just the present. India observes National Doctors Day on July 1 every year.

The day is observed in remembrance of the famous physician and second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, on his birth and death anniversaries. India has made great strides in the medical sector. By honoring the finest embodiment of these ideals, this day expresses thanks to all those who have generously helped us in our time of need and persistently worked for the wellbeing of their patients.

Jagannath Rath Yatra is carried out annually in Puri, Odisha. It starts on Hindu Month Ashadha’s Shukla Dwitiya every year. The Hindu date falls on 1st July this year and the yatra will conclude on 9th July. The Rath Yatra, also known as the Chariot Festival, commemorates the trip that Lord Jagannath took with his siblings to see their aunt. This dates back 5000 years and has since become a custom.

Happy Guru Ravidas Jayanti 2022 : आज रविदास जयंती है। पूरे देश में संत रविदास बड़े ही उत्साह के साथ मनाई जा रही है। हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार हर वर्ष माघ महीने की पूर्णिमा तिथि पर संत रविदास की जयंती मनाई जाती है। संत रविदास जी का जन्म माघ पूर्णिमा तिथि के दिन हुआ था। इस दिन संत रविदास के अनुयायी बड़ी संख्या में उनके जन्म स्थान पर एकत्रित होकर भजन कीर्तन करते हैं। रविदास जयंती और माघी पूर्णिमा के दिन गंगा स्नान का विशेष महत्व होता है। संत रविदास को रैदासजी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। इनके माता-पिता एक चर्मकार थे। संत रविवास जी बहुत ही धार्मिक स्वभाव के व्यक्ति थे। इन्होंने आजीविका के लिए अपने पैतृक कार्य को अपनाते हुए हमेशा भगवान की भक्ति में हमेशा ही लीन रहा करते थे। संत रविदास जी, जिन्होंने भगवान की भक्ति में समर्पित होने के साथ अपने सामाजिक और पारिवारिक कर्त्तव्यों का भी बखूबी निर्वहन किया। इन्होंने आपस में प्रेम करने की शिक्षा दी और इसी तरह से वे भक्ति के मार्ग पर चलकर संत रविदास कहलाए। उनकी शिक्षाएं आज भी प्रेरणादायक हैं।
