Mahakaushal University's Outstanding Performance at the Sports Event "Udghosh 2024" Organized by IIT Kanpur














From October 4 to October 6, 2024, IIT Kanpur organized the "Udghosh-2024" sports competition, in which students from Mahakaushal University participated in various sports events and achieved outstanding results, winning both gold and bronze medals.



It is noteworthy that IIT Kanpur organizes the "Udghosh" sports event annually. In this year's event, multiple sports competitions were held, with participation from over 450 universities, colleges, and institutes.



A total of 22 participants from Mahakaushal University took part in the 2024 edition, with student Lawlesh Kumar securing third place in both the 400-meter hurdles and the 400-meter race, earning a bronze medal for the university. In the Ultimate Frisbee game, the Mahakaushal University team triumphed over IIM Lucknow with a score of 15-1 and went on to defeat IIT Kanpur with the same score of 15-1, advancing to the semifinals. On October 6, 2024, they defeated IIT Bombay 15-1 in the semifinal and proceeded to the final, where they clinched the gold medal by defeating Ashoka University 15-4.



The exceptional performance of Mahakaushal University's sports coach Mr. Vishal Mishra, Mr. Shyam Parmar, team captain Ms. Shraddha Tiwari, vice-captain Harsh Kori, and team members A***n, Anish, Om, Harsh*ta, Muskan, Palak, and Lucky led to the university's gold medal victory, bringing pride to the institution. Other participants from the university also delivered commendable performances in the competition.



The university's Dean of Academics, Dr. Bhawani Singh, played an active role in selecting students for the competition and supporting their practice and preparations.



In alignment with the vision of Honorable Chancellor Dr. Anil Tiwari, the university continuously strives to offer various activities catering to students' interests and talents, aiming to identify and nurture these talents so the university can actively contribute at national and international levels.

Mishra, University Director Dr. Mushtaq Alam, and Registrar Dr. Harendra Saraswat extended their congratulations to all the winners from the Mahakaushal University family for securing medals in the competition. The university hopes that this victory will inspire other students, motivating them to prepare diligently for upcoming competitions and bring further pride to the university.

Fire Safety Training for NCC Cadets
On the morning of 12/08/2024 , at 9:30 AM, Mr. Vishal Mishra delivered a comprehensive 1.5-hour lecture on fire safety to the NCC Girls Cadets of the 2nd MP NCC Girls Battalion. The session included a live demonstration of all the essential fire safety equipment used during emergencies.



Following the program, the NCC extended its gratitude to the university through Colonel Dinesh Jaiswal, who presented a commemorative memento to the Honorable Vice Chancellor and the Honorable Director as a token of appreciation from the Battalion.



The training provided valuable insights and practical knowledge, equipping the cadets with the skills necessary to handle fire safety situations effectively. The live demonstration offered hands-on experience with the equipment, reinforcing the importance of preparedness and response in emergency situations.



We extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Vishal Mishra and the NCC team for their dedication and commitment to enhancing the safety awareness and skills of our cadets.
