Glimpse of Children's Day

St. Xavier’s High School, Gupteshwar proudly continues its innovative Student Internship Program (SIP) by arranging an exciting station visit to MY FM 94.3, making students experience real-world media learning beyond the classroom environment.
As part of this program, students from Classes 7 to 12 visited the MY FM 94.3 studio in Jabalpur, where they were warmly guided by Mr. Satish Tiwari, Branch Manager, Head of MY FM Jabalpur, and RJ Ashwin, a popular voice of the station. The session offered students a fascinating insight into the functioning of an FM radio station and its creative processes.
Students learned how radio shows are planned, recorded, and transmitted, gaining hands-on exposure to technical systems, sound controls, and studio functioning. They also observed live broadcast operations and understood the role of a Radio Jockey, including voice modulation, scripting, and interacting with the audience. The interactive session inspired students as they asked questions and tried speaking in front of the mic, experiencing real studio vibes.
The informative visit highlighted the importance of communication skills, confidence, creativity, and teamwork in the media industry. Students expressed great excitement and appreciation as they explored behind-the-scenes radio production.
This learning experience was organized under the supervision of the school faculty and successfully aligned with the vision of providing practical exposure to students.
