The top 5 career options in the film industry are :

1. Scriptwriter – Scriptwriters are responsible for creating the story and narrative direction of everything from feature films to sitcoms and cartoons, to musicals and commercials. Scriptwriters must create characters and write plausible dialogue based on the character design and setting, craft a plot, set stage directions based on the dialogue and plot, and then work with the director and producer to bring their vision to life.

2. Film Director – The director is the person who controls the overall artistic and dramatic feel of a presentation – whether it is a five-minute infomercial or a feature film. They instruct and guide both the technical crew and the actors or animators to create a vision that best brings the script to life.

3. Video Editor - A video editor is a person who makes production and/or post-production changes to a film. Work heavily involves cutting and rearranging scenes. Cuts made cannot detract from the story or confuse the audience by taking away scenes with critical information needed to understand the action.

4. Cinematographer – The whole responsibility of projecting the real mood of the scene and ultimately the story is on the shoulder of the cinematographer. A cinematographer is responsible for correct lighting, camera angle, effect, etc., which creates the real feel of the ongoing scene. It is a creative role in filmmaking and usually works with almost each unit member such as director, writer, cameraman, production team, etc. Being a key role in filmmaking gives an amazing career opportunity in the film industry.

5. Camera Operator – Camera operators work in the television, music, and film industry and are usually employed by television and cable companies or by video production houses. They are responsible for capturing different scenes during production and operating a wide variety of technical equipment that may include single and multiple portable, electronic and remote-control cameras. This is one job in the film industry that can be very physically demanding and tiring. The position often requires a great deal of traveling between locations and many long days or irregular work hours.
