When Urvashi talks about the summer camp in her village, she doesn't speak about programmes or outcomes.
She talks about games.

In Chaatumar village, children come together every day to play kho-kho, kabaddi, football, and other games under the guidance of their coach. What begins as play gradually becomes something more—a space where children build confidence, friendships, teamwork, and a sense of belonging.
At its heart, Building Communities Around Sports (BCAS), supported by ASICS Foundation and implemented by Mrida Education and Welfare Society, is about creating opportunities for children to learn, connect, and grow through sport and play.
Sometimes the most meaningful stories of impact are best told by children themselves.

We work to develop a vocational career, and skills training to empower middle grade and high school students to build a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities. We want to enable partnerships to connect the students to education, training, employment, and entrepreneurship to accelerate and transform rural education.

World Football Day feels like the right moment to pause and say one simple thing — thank you. ⚽❤️
To every player who showed up with grit, every coach who believed, every staff member who worked behind the scenes, and every supporter who cheered us through the Women’s Premier League Delhi — thank you for being part of this journey.
Football gave us more than a season. It gave us moments of courage, community, and connection. A local singer who arrived simply to lift spirits. Athletes from Bihar who reminded us that sport has no boundaries. Friends, supporters, partners, and well-wishers who showed up in ways big and small — from cheering on the sidelines to sharing a meal with our girls after the game.
These moments matter. Because football is never only about what happens on the pitch. It is about the people who make the journey possible.
Every match taught us something. Every challenge made us stronger. Every act of support reminded our girls that they are not walking this path alone.
This season may be over, but the work continues — with more learning, more discipline, and more dreams to chase.
On World Football Day, we celebrate not just the game, but the community that stood behind it.
