The ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ƒ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง organized an enriching and insightful educational visit to ๐‡๐š๐ซ๐ข ๐๐ข๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ, Jammu a magnificent heritage site reflecting the rich cultural legacy of the region on 17th April, 2026 for the teacher trainees of B.Ed. Semester I.
The visit provided an enriching platform for experiential learning, allowing trainees to explore the palaceโ€™s architectural and historical significance while enhancing their observation, critical thinking, and collaborative skills, and deepening their understanding of integrating real-life experiences into teaching.
Ms. Pooja Chib, Lecturer, DCE, and Mr. Nirbhay Singh, Lecturer in Physical Education, DCE, accompanied the students and provided continuous guidance and support throughout the visit, ensuring a well-coordinated and meaningful experience.

The outreach programme focused on spreading awareness about significant social issues through well-structured daily themes:

Day 2: Save Energy & Water
Day 3: Mental Health Awareness
Each day began with opening remarks, followed by interactive sessions, discussions, role plays, and community interaction. Trainees actively engaged with participants, making the sessions meaningful and impactful.

๐ƒ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐„๐๐ฎ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง organized an educational visit to the Anganwadi Centre, Ward No. 3, Bari Brahmana, on 30th March, 2026 for B.Ed. Semester-I trainees as part of their internship program.
The visit was accompanied by ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐•๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ž ๐Š๐ฎ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ข, ๐‹๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ซ, ๐ƒ๐‚๐„. Trainees observed teaching methods, nutrition programs, and child development activities, and interacted with Anganwadi workers.
They also participated in activities with children, gaining practical experience and understanding early childhood education and welfare initiatives.
The visit was informative and helped connect theory with practice.
