Endometriosis is a disease where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing pain and/or infertility. Symptoms associated with endometriosis vary - including a combination of:
🚺 painful periods
🚺 chronic pelvic pain
🚺 pain during and/or after s*x
🚺 painful bowel movements
🚺 painful urination
🚺 fatigue
🚺 depression or anxiety
🚺 abdominal bloating and nausea

Today is World Tuberculosis Day!
DYK: Tuberculosis is one of the deadliest diseases in the world. 1.5 million died from tuberculosis in 2020, including 214,000 people living with HIV.

Each year we commemorate World TB Day to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of tuberculosis (TB) and to step up efforts to end the global TB epidemic.

The date marks the day in 1882 when Dr. Robert Koch announced that he had discovered the bacterium that causes TB, which opened the way towards diagnosing and curing this disease.
