Our brilliant young grandmasters-in-the-making recently represented SSRVM Itanagar at the 3rd State Level Junior cm Inter-School FIDE Rating Chess Championship 2026, held at VKV Chimpu from May 16th to 19th.
Out of 28 schools and over 150+ fierce competitors, 10 of our finest students stepped up to the board, showcasing incredible strategy, patience, and sportsmanship. 🧠💪

🌱🌍 World Environment Day Celebration at SSRVM Itanagar 🌍🌱
Today, SSRVM Itanagar proudly celebrated World Environment Day in collaboration with the Forest Department of Arunachal Pradesh. Under the inspiring initiative of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, our students participated in a meaningful tree plantation drive within the school premises.
The forest officers enlightened our young minds about the importance of protecting Mother Nature and inspired them to keep our environment clean, green, and sustainable for future generations. 🌿💚
A heartfelt thank you to the Department of Forests and our respected Ranger Sir for their valuable guidance, support, and dedication towards environmental conservation.

The SSRVM Itanagar family came together with immense joy, devotion, and gratitude to celebrate the 70th birthday of Pujya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on 13th May.

The celebration began with soulful prayers and meditation, filling the atmosphere with peace and positivity. Students expressed their love and reverence through beautiful songs and energetic dance performances.

The joyous cake-cutting ceremony added warmth and happiness to the occasion as everyone united in honoring Gurudev’s wisdom, compassion, and blessings.

The entire celebration reflected heartfelt gratitude and deep respect towards Gurudev for inspiring countless lives with love, knowledge, and humanity.

On 26th April 2026, the Assamese Association organised a literary competition in Itanagar for students from Group A to Group C. The event featured drawing, essay writing, and quiz competitions, providing young participants with an excellent platform to showcase their creativity and knowledge.

We are proud to announce that several students from Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir achieved remarkable success and brought laurels to the school through their outstanding performances. Our students secured multiple prizes and were awarded cash prizes, medals, and certificates in recognition of their achievements.
