Fhang Gu, Fhang Gu!

Fhang Gu! Fhang Gu! Echoes so sweet,
A childhood call, where joy and laughter meet.
Uncles and brothers with arms open wide,
“Come here, little ones,” they beckon with pride.

We’d rush with delight, to their legs we would cling,
Hearts beating fast, oh, the joy they would bring.
With a joyful lift, “Fhannng!” we would soar,
Then back down again, “Guuuu!”—we wanted more!

Round and round, with giggles we’d play,
“Fhang Gu, Fhang Gu!” brightening each day.
Our laughter a symphony, a chorus of cheer,
With every uplift, we’d conquer our fear.

Then came the final, exhilarating phase,
“DiDiDi, di di di, oh, the thrill of those days!”
Over their heads, we’d fly like the sun,
Bound by tradition, oh, how we would run.

Time takes its toll, but memories remain,
Fhang Gu, dear Fhang Gu, a joy without stain.
I hold on to this game, passed down from above,
A treasure of laughter, of family, and love.

So, children, gather, let the echoes resound,
In the arms of our ancestors, pure joy can be found.
With every “Fhang Gu!” may your spirits take flight,
As we weave our traditions through the day and the night.
