ایک دفعہ ابن انشاءٹوکیو کی ایک یونیورسٹی میں مقامی استاد سے محو گفتگو تھے‘ جب گفتگو اپنے اختتام پر پہنچی تو وہ استاد ابن انشاءکو الوداع کرتے ہوئے یونیورسٹی کے باہری صحن تک چل پڑا‘ ابھی یونیورسٹی کی حدود میں ہی تھے کہ دونوں باتیں کرتے کرتے ایک مقام پر کھڑے ہو گئے‘ اس دوران ابن انشاءنے محسوس کیا کہ پیچھے سے گزرنے والے طلباءاچھل اچھل کر گزر رہے ہیں‘ باتیں ختم ہوئیں تو ابن انشاءاجازت لینے سے پہلے یہ پوچھے بغیر نہ رہ سکے کہ محترم ہمارے پیچھے سے گزرنے والا ہر طالب علم اچھل اچھل کر کیوں گزر رہا ہے‘کیا اس کی کوئی خاص وجہ ہے؟ٹوکیو یونیورسٹی کے استاد نے بآواز بلند قہقہہ لگایا اور ابن انشاءکو بتایا کہ سورج کی روشنی سے ہمارا سایہ ہمارے پیچھے پڑ رہا ہے اوریہاں سے گزرنے والا ہر طالب علم نہیں چاہتا کہ اس کے پاﺅں اس کے استاد کے سایہ پر پڑیں‘ اس لئے ہمارے عقب سے گزرنے والا ہر طالب علم اچھل اچھل کر گزر رہا ہے‘ یہ قوم کیوں نہ ترقی کرے‘ ہمارے معاشرے میں تو استاد کا احترام اس کے گریڈ اورعہدے سے منسلک ھے۔
