Bridging the gap between theory and practice at IIT Indore.
I recently attended the technical seminar "Reimagining Construction Paradigms: Steel for the Next Generation" at IIT Indore, and it was a masterclass in modern engineering.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary for his profound insights into steel–concrete composite construction. His ability to break down complex future design challenges into actionable engineering principles was truly the highlight of the day for me.
The entire lineup of speakers provided an incredible breadth of knowledge:
Mr. Jayesh Kumar Jain on aesthetic and structural innovations in industrial steel.
Mr.Muneeb Mehraj Mehraj on the critical role of life-cycle assessment and digital sustainability tools.
The team from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) for sharing vital industry practices and applications.
Mr. Ashutosh Kutumbale Kutumbale for a fascinating look at reimagining structures using hollow sections.
Dr. Siddharth Chauhan for an engaging session on modern bridge design and construction.
A huge thank you to the Institute for Steel Development and Growth (INSDAG) and SAIL for organizing such a high-caliber event.
Bridging the gap between academic research and industry reality is exactly what we need to build the infrastructure of tomorrow.
