Chameli Devi Institute of Professional Studies - CDIPS

An “Induction Program” Aarambh 2024 was organized to welcome the students of Commerce, Management and Computer Applications at Chameli Devi Institute of Professional Studies.The day was marked with the esteemed presence of Col. Saroja Kumari J, Chief Guest, a Sena Medal winner and an Ace Shooter, Mhow ; Mr. Yashpal Singh Parihar, Special Guest, Vice President Elite Club, MP Chapter and Mr. Tanmay Tarani, an Alumnus of the college. Other dignitaries included our most Respected member of CDGI Group Kakaji, Dr. Joy P. Banerjee, Group Director of Chameli Devi Group of Institutions ; Dr. Suhas Dhande, Principal, Chameli Devi Institute of Professional Studies; Dr. Manish Shrivastva, Principal, Chameli Devi Group of Institutions; Dr. Arun Gupta, Principal, Chameli Devi Institute of Pharmacy and Dr. Nisha Kevaliya, Chameli Devi Institute of Law, Dr. Jalaj Katare, Dean Management, Mr.Deepak R. Phalke, Academic Head, 1st year Eng. Dept. and HODs of various departments.

The program began with lightening the lamp to invoke the blessings of Maa Saraswati. The lamp lightening ceremony was followed by Saraswati Vandana and a Folk Group Dance Program.

Our Group Director, Dr. Joy P. Banerjee , Our Principal CDIPS, Dr. Suhas Dhande, Our alumnus, Mr. Tanmay Tarani, Our Special Guest, Mr. Yashpal Singh Parihar and Our Chief Guest, Col. Saroja Kumari J encouraged the new students to work hard and prosper in academics as well as extra-curricular curricular activities for their overall development.

The guests were presented with a memento as a token of our love , respect and gratitude for gracing us with their esteemed presence and valuable time. The program ended with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Anjum Parwez, senior faculty CDIPS, followed by the National Anthem. The entire program was conducted by Dr. Rachna Naik, Head of BBA Department.

Closing Ceremony of Abhivyakti Mehndi Training Workshop.

🔸 To make rural women employable and self-reliant, a 50-day free Abhivyakti Mehndi training workshop was started in village Umrikheda under the joint aegis of Balaji Sevarth Vinod Agarwal Foundation and Chameli Devi Institute of Professional Studies.

🔸 40 women and girls of the village benefited from this workshop. The closing ceremony of Abhivyakti Mehndi Workshop was organized at Ram Mandir Parisar, Umrikheda on 23rd March 2024.

🔸 In this dignified ceremony, Member of Janpad, Mr. Rajat Khobare, Sarpanch of Umrikheda Mr. Sanjay Dubey, Upsarpanch, Mr. Mukesh Nath, Social Worker, Mr. Bhagwan Singh Baghela & Mr. Prakash Borasi, Principal CDIPS, Dr. Suhas Dhande, and Principal CDIL, Dr. Nisha Kewaliya graced the stage with their presence. The Welcome address was presented by Dr. Suhas Dhande, principal, CDIPS and the program was conducted by Abhivyakti Mehandi Course Coordinator Dr. Gayatri Sharma.

🔸 Mehandi Training was given by esteemed trainers Mrs. Sarika Panwar and Miss Divya Patel. All the trainees were awarded with a certificate at the end of the program.

IDP has conducted an IELTS briefing session at CDIPS for UG students of all professional courses.

BudgetNama - A Confabulation on Budget 2024 was organised for the UG students of I year by the students at CDIPS on 3rd February 2024. The students of all the UG courses participated in the event wherein they prepared PowerPoint presentations on various aspects of Budget 2024 and explained those as well. The program commenced with an effective Introduction by Prof. Anjum Parwez who helped to set the stage and explained the basics to the students. Each one of the 8 different presentations portrayed the knowledge and hard work along with effective communication skills of the students.

Cleanliness drive on occasion of National Cleanliness Day by NSS Students

A dance competition was organised at CDIPS for UG students. There were 13 brilliant performances in total including a duet and a group performance. Prof. Aishwarya Chouhan (CDGI) and Prof. Swati Updadhyay (CDIL) were the judges of the competition. The program was coordinated by Dr. Rachna Naik, Prof. Kratika Gangwani, Prof. Olinka Panhalkar, Prof. Nikita Patel and Prof. Shweta Meshram.

Festive Fiesta - A Coalescence of Creativity Culture and Competitiveness - was organised by CDIPS for UG students. Under it, 25 students participated in Rangoli Making, Kite Making and Kite Flying competition. The participants exhibited their creativity and adherence to culture with a competitive spirit amongst them.

◼️Inception of Free Mehendi Training course

🔸With the aim to make women self-reliant and employable, under the the joint auspices of Balaji Sevarth Vinod Agarwal Foundation,
Chameli Devi Institute of Professional studies and 'Abhivyakti club' , a "Free Mehendi Training course" for 50 days was initiated.

🔸On 20th January 2024 at Gram Umrikheda , Indore, inauguration of the course, was done by Shri Sanjay Dubey, Sarpanch of Umrikheda, Shri Mukesh Nath ,Upsarpanch along with other senior members of panchayat, Dr. Suhas Dhande , Principal CDIPS, Dr. Arun Gupta, Principal CDIP, Dr. Nisha Kevaliya , Principal CDIL & Prof. Anjum Parwez were present.

🔸The program was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Gayatri Sharma. The welcome address of the program was presented by Dr. Suhas Dhande, Principal, Chameli Devi Institute of Professional Studies. The program ended with a Vote of Thanks presented by Dr. Gayatri Sharma.
