UPSC CSE 2025 Cut-Off Analysis
UPSC has released the minimum qualifying marks for Civil Services Examination 2025, and the numbers reveal some important trends for aspirants.
πΉ Prelims Cut-off (General): 92.66
The cut-off remains around the 90β95 range, showing that the paper maintained a moderate difficulty level. For serious aspirants, the safe score target should always be 100+ in GS Paper-I to stay comfortably above uncertainty.
πΉ Mains Cut-off (General): 739
This reflects the intense competition in the written stage. Marks distribution in GS papers and optional subjects continues to be the decisive factor. Aspirants must focus not just on knowledge but also answer writing quality and structure.
πΉ Final Cut-off (General): 963
The difference between Mains (739) and Final (963) highlights the critical role of the Personality Test (Interview). Performance in the interview stage can significantly influence final ranking.
π Category Trends:
β’ OBC cut-off remains close to General, showing high competition.
β’ SC/ST cut-offs show moderate gaps but still require strong performance in Mains.
β’ EWS category cut-off is slightly lower than General but still competitive.
π Key Lesson for Aspirants:
Success in UPSC is not about clearing one stage; it requires consistent performance across Prelims, Mains, and Interview.
At K3 IAS, Indore, our focus is on building conceptual clarity, answer writing mastery, and interview personality development to help aspirants clear all three stages.
π― Target smart. Prepare consistently. Stay ahead of the cut-off.
