Emerald Heights celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with immense pride, patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. Students from Pre-Primary to Class XII came together to commemorate the nation’s freedom and honour the spirit of India.

The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the Tricolour, followed by the National Anthem and a ceremonial March Past by the NCC Air Wing and Army Wing cadets.

The cultural programme featured patriotic songs, eloquent speeches and vibrant dance performances. Students paid a heartfelt tribute to the valour, courage and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces, while beautifully portraying India’s rich heritage and unity in diversity.

Adding a special global dimension to the celebration, the exchange students participating in the AFS BP Global STEM Academies Programme presented a song, celebrating the spirit of friendship and cultural exchange.

The campus resonated with patriotic pride as young Emeralites celebrated the legacy of freedom and the responsibility it carries. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride, gratitude and unity.

University fairs are not just about discovering institutions; they are about discovering possibilities.

The Emerald Heights International School hosted its International Universities’ Expo at the Sports Complex, bringing together representatives from over 65 universities from across the world.

Students engaged directly with university representatives, exploring courses, scholarships, creative and sporting opportunities, campus life, and the realities of studying abroad. What stood out was the quality of their questions, ranging from scholarship opportunities and student experiences to the challenges of university life.

The Expo encouraged students to look beyond rankings and brochures and think about fit, purpose, and possibility, because choosing a university is ultimately about choosing where to begin building a life.
