It is the easiest and the quickest way to reach masses of popcorn munchers who have your undivided attention while glued to the silver screen. Sometimes you may forget the movie's plot scenes of a movie, but you will not forget the brands featured in the movie. Big brands tie-up with movies to reach their target audience.
Movies are generous sprinkled with direct and indirect product placements. So are TV series and popular Web Series!

Cut- copy- paste, doesn't that make everything so easy in life?
When you are a late entrant, it becomes important to copy a few things from the established market leader to come at a point of parity. But is it fair to borrow to the extent that it becomes a Point of similarity?
Well, some brands think so. Brandjacking as it is sometimes referred to involves borrowing features from the popular in such a way that your product or service starts resembling theirs, leading to reduced differentiation in the minds of the customers.
Is it fair, legal, or just a smart sneaky little trick, the ethicality of it remains debatable and context-specific.

In the academic year 2019-2020, we had the opportunity to provide several live projects to the PGP participants. Presenting to you their testimonials to share their experiences and learnings with you all!
Live Project: Olleh technologies (WrongNumber App)
"We worked closely with the Core Marketing team (with founders and co-founders) with 2-3 status calls per week. We were responsible for strategizing & planning operations for launching a new product (A Dating App) in 2 cities, namely Indore and Bhopal, and acquiring potential users.
We started with working on a blueprint of the dating app and providing insights to discover potential areas of improvements for including possible features to enhance the offerings. For Branding and User Acquisition, we identified influencers in these cities by forming KPIs on historical data from YouTube & Instagram. Later, diverse locations inside these cities were analysed for the highest App Pe*******on Potential, and various offline marketing efforts were devised for the same. Overall the project rendered a great learning experience, as the startup was at the ideation phase."
