Choithram School, North Campus organized an insightful faculty session in collaboration with UNOCUE and CHEdgeMakers on career discovery, psychometric assessment, and university application counseling for students.
The session was conducted by Mr. Ajay Bansal, Co-founder and CEO of CHEdgeMakers and Director of UNOCUE CH Indore, along with Dr. Venuka Goyal, Lead Counselor at UNOCUE CH Indore.
The resource persons highlighted the importance of helping students make informed career choices based on their aptitude, interests, abilities, and long-term goals. Through practical examples and real-life insights, they emphasized that psychometric tests alone are not sufficient to fully understand a student’s interests and potential, and that continuous guidance and counseling play an equally important role.
The session also addressed the growing impact of peer pressure, societal expectations, and digital influence on students’ career decisions. Teachers were informed about one-on-one counseling sessions planned for students of Classes IX to XII to guide them in subject selection, career planning, university applications, and admissions to reputed institutions.
The session proved to be highly informative and reinforced the significance of student-centric career guidance in today’s evolving educational landscape.

Choithram School, North Campus, organised an insightful Faculty Development Session on “Leading from Within: Mental Resilience and Strategic Use of Silence” for its teaching fraternity. The session was conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Unmekha Tare—Educator, Sports Psychologist, Cricketer, Entrepreneur, Author, and TEDx Speaker.
The session focused on nurturing inner well-being through self-awareness, self-discipline, emotional balance, and resilience. Prof. Tare highlighted the importance of accepting change, maintaining control over one’s responses, and embracing silence as a powerful tool for thoughtful communication and effective leadership. Through inspiring stories, practical examples, and reflective discussions, she encouraged educators to cultivate inner strength, patience, and positivity in both their personal and professional lives.
A key takeaway from the session was the significance of building strong foundations, much like the bamboo tree that strengthens its roots before visible growth. The discussion also emphasised work-life balance, the power of forgiveness, and the role of a positive mindset in overcoming challenges and fostering meaningful relationships.
The session provided valuable insights into leading with purpose, grace, and resilience, empowering educators to create a positive impact within themselves, their classrooms, and the wider school community.

Choithram School, North Campus commenced the Academic Session 2026–27 with an inspiring and purposeful Faculty Orientation Programme, setting the tone for a year of excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.
The session focused on the school’s expectations and vision for the new academic year, emphasizing preparedness from day one, purposeful teaching, collaborative teamwork, and data-driven decision-making. Faculty members were encouraged to view leadership not merely as a position but as a daily practice reflected through actions, accountability, and commitment.
Key discussions highlighted the importance of maintaining effective communication systems, documentation of meetings and planning processes, and aligning all initiatives with the school’s vision and educational goals. Teachers were also acquainted with important frameworks and platforms, including Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Global Citizenship, Skill Education, EducLOUD LMS, and CBSE’s CCF guidelines.
The programme further reinforced the significance of innovation, student-centric learning, and fostering a culture of excellence through meaningful collaboration and reflective practices. Various action plans for assemblies, clubs, house activities, and academic enrichment programmes were also shared to ensure a structured and engaging learning environment for students.
