Young Leaders & Speakers Programme | MUN – Junior Edition for Classes IV & V
Our young learners stepped into the world of diplomacy, discussion and decision-making through the Model United Nations (MUN) – Junior Edition, a four-day experiential learning programme designed especially for students of Classes IV and V.
Taking on different roles and working in committees, students expressed their views, exchanged ideas and engaged in meaningful discussions on real-world issues.
The programme featured four age-appropriate committees:
🔹 UN Economy Club (Junior) – Saving Petrol and Diesel: Sustainable Energy Solutions for the Future
Exploring fuel conservation, electric vehicles, renewable energy and sustainable habits.
🔹 UNICEF – Protecting the Rights of Children in the Digital and Modern World
Discussing child education, online safety, child labour, and mental health and well-being.
🔹 UNEP – Saving Our Planet: Combating Climate Change and Natural Calamities
Exploring climate change, natural disasters, plastic pollution and sustainable lifestyles.
🔹 State Government Committee – Strengthening State Response to Natural Disasters and Public Health Emergencies
Discussing healthcare, disaster preparedness, lessons from COVID-19 and education reforms.
Through committee discussions, teamwork, role-play, negotiations and presentations, our students are developing essential skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving and leadership.
