🌧 A Sobering Study of Wayanad Landslides
Our research on landslides in Wayanad (Kerala) has been highlighted in The Hindu’s Frontline section. In Geohazards Lab, we are working on modeling of landslides in regions like Western ghats and Himalays to better understand these phenomena, given the increased frequency of extreme rainfall events.
More information on our ongoing research can be obtained by contacting the Geohazards Research Lab ([email protected]) or Professor Neelima Satyam ([email protected]).
