Intro - IPS engineering students (first year CSE-AIML) performed a drama in SGSITS college for an NGO Sewabharti in a program of 75th Amrit Mahotsav which was based on Women Empowerment and History of Queens in India.

The Drama is based on "Rani Chennamma - The Queen of Kittur".
Kittur Rani Chennamma is hailed as one of the first female rulers to have rebelled against the British.
The drama is based on the event when she rebelled against the Tax (Lagaan) policy and Doctrine of Lapse policy of the East India company.

Performers:
Rani Chennamma - Arushi Sthapak.
Britisher Collector St John Thackeray - Ginni Jain.
Mahamantri (general secretary) - Shivesh Richhariya.
Uttaradhikari (adopted son of the queen) - Isha Dubey.
The narrators - Ashmi Thakur (voice of queen) and Niharika Gupta (voice of Britisher).
