ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE – A TURNING POINT FOR GIGANTIC ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD SYSTEMS
Use of Artificial Intelligence has brought revolution in the field of medical science with its amazing application towards making Electronic Health Records more intelligent and flexible. Electronic Health Records the digital format of patient’s complete medical details on paper are considered to be the basic necessity of medical science and health infrastructure. Our world has been rapidly transformed by digital technology and the medical health care infrastructure is one of the most prominent areas where there are immense possibilities of its application.
Due to Electronic Health Records the information is available whenever and wherever and the ability to exchange health information electronically can help in providing higher quality and safer care for patients and also create tangible enhancements for organization. The principal purpose of Artificial Intelligence presently in Electronic Health Record Systems is to improve data discovery and extraction and personalize treatment recommendations but it has great potential to make Electronic Health Record Systems more User friendly by use of Machine Learning specifically.
