Weekends are for strategy building and planning trades for next week:
The underlying principle is : Do Not Predict, plan scenarios
Prediction and scenario building are completely different things.
I do not predict.
Scenario building is my action plan of “if this happens, I do this.”
That includes stop losses.
Naturally, it also includes “if this does not happen, I do nothing.”
What I do not want you to misunderstand here is that “if this happens, I do this” is not just about entries.
If this happens, I enter.
If this happens, I stop out.
If this happens, I take profit.
If this happens, I do not trade.
It is the combination of all of these actions that creates the edge.
For example, even with the same entry rule, a different stop placement makes it an entirely different system.
Even with the same entry and stop, a different profit taking method changes both the win rate and the risk reward.
In other words, edge does not reside in the entry point.
It resides in the sum total of all of your actions.
That is why, unless every part of “if this happens, I do this” has been defined in advance, you cannot even test it.

Workshop on Trading System: This Sunday we work on our practical "Trading System".
1. Entry Conditions: What do you evaluate, by what criteria, and at what precise millisecond do you execute?
2. Exit Conditions: Before entering, separately specify your profit-taking criteria and your stop-loss criteria.
3. Trailing Conditions: How do you manipulate the stop order? If static, write that down.
4. Position Size: Fix one loss (1R) as a specific % of your total equity.
5. No-Trade Conditions: Define the strictly objective conditions under which you will NOT trade—time of day, volume thresholds, volatility, or major news events.
6. Invalidation Conditions: After the signal triggers, what specific structural shifts invalidate the scenario before you actually pull the trigger?

Trading is becoming a more and more important skill each year
Job industries are getting worse, the economy is looking unstable, the stock market will likely crash soon
But none of this really matters if you’re a trader
In fact, you can have your best trading results while the economy is tanking and things are going badly for everyone else
As the world gets more unstable, traders will be the ones who capitalise on this and make more money than ever
THIS is why you should never quit trading

Weekends are for backtesting and designing new strategies/analysis. If you have any set up/process that you want to test, please share by calling or whatsapp before 3 pm.
Backtesting is the process of testing a trading strategy or predictive model using historical data to evaluate its performance, viability, and risk without risking real capital. It simulates past trades to determine potential profitability, enabling traders to refine strategies before live deployment. Key metrics analyzed include net profit/loss, drawdowns, and volatility.
Steps for Effective Backtesting
Define Strategy: Establish clear, rule-based entry and exit points.
Gather Data: Use high-quality, diverse historical data sets.
Run Simulation: Execute the strategy over different time periods.
Analyze Results: Review key metrics to assess performance.
Optimize & Forward Test: Refine and test in live, small-scale, or paper-trading scenarios.
